Chapter 88 - Revenge 87: Stupid, Its Obvious (1/2)

”Lannie please don't say it like that! People will misunderstand!” Anna immediately said in her defense after seeing the expression Nathalia and the others have.

”What's there to misunderstand? You two are living in the same roof, are you not?” Lannie said; acting like she's confused about the situation.

”Yes, that is true but! It's only TEMPORARY.” Anna said emphasizing the word 'temporary'. ”I have my own reason for staying there. And you!” Pointing at Kyle, ”Why are you not saying anything? Can't you see that my friends are misunderstanding the relationship between us? Come on say something!”

Kyle looked at her with amus.e.m.e.nt in his eyes it was as if he is watching an interesting show. But for some reason, there is a tinge of irritation coming from inside of him. Is she really that against the idea of them being together? As far as he remembers most women wants to be with him and even dreamt of him. How come she's very different from them? Does she not like being paired up with him that much? Kyle can clearly see that Anna is really against the idea of the two of them being together. Two words are the only thing can describe the feeling he has now, 'How annoying.'

Kyle ignores her plea and faced his sister, ”If you're gonna stay then I'll tell Eric to pick you up.”

The smile on Lannie's face suddenly froze when she heard that. Her brother purposely said that to her, knowing that she likes Eric secretly. And her brother very well knows that if she and Eric were left alone together it is going to be so awkward. But then again no matter how awkward it might be an opportunity like this to be alone with Eric can only come once in a blue moon; so she might a well accept it and she has to keep herself altogether to prevent herself to do embarrassing stuff in front of Eric.

”Okay!” She said gleefully.

Anna was in disbelief that Kyle is not even clearing her name from the misunderstanding that her friends greatly had on their minds. They are definitely gonna tell this to her brother, especially Zen; once her brother hears this he is definitely gonna interrogate her.

”You—” Anna wanted to finish her sentence but she was forcefully got on the car by car. He did not give her the chance to protest.

”Bye, brother! I'll see you when I see you!” Lannie said sweetly and Kyle only nodded. After that, the car was already gone away, and Nathalia and the others still have their questioning expression on their faces.

”Can someone tell us what is really going on between your brother and Anna?” Zen asked.

”Oh! It's nothing! They are not there yet. Hehehe.” Lannie said as she giggles gleefully.
