It was not decided where they will stay. Meilin preferred a villa for his security, the Qin Mansion though safe was too far from their workplace so, it was a no-go.

Qin ZiXuan had the mindset of 'Meilin is my home, where she lives is our home to return back to',..... I tell you, MEN!!

Meilin had no idea what was inside that cute head of his, but she had an inkling that they can't stay in his penthouse...it felt desolate and lonely, not warm at all...every corner stank of 'only for work' so, in the end, she decided to stay at her place for the time being, it was closeby, huge and ZiXuan seemed to love it...

It was quite late today so she decided to cook their food there.

She had made sure to cut off all those unnecessary dinner meetings...at least for the time being and of course it was possible with her by his side from now on, if push came to shove, she might as well use her identity as a Qin, but then again, who had the guts to defy her anyway.

She went into the kitchen while playing, 'green veggies and no dessert', in a loop in her mind and before she knew it she had prepared a total of five vegan dishes....for our ZiXuan's sake. I'm not going into details as he cried out without shedding any tears just from finishing the dishes and hence, didn't want them to be named.

After dinner, he helped him to put drops in his eyes and stayed beside him to comfort him.

He was someone who would never deliberately choose to close his eyes.

They both were claustrophobic, yes, but he also had a severe case of Achluophobia...he not just hated it, he was scared to the bones of darkness, which sometimes caused him to relapse if he didn't have someone he could confide with, by his side or, proper medical help....he has it since childhood, another part of his history she had no idea about.

As if in cue to her thinking process, in a soft voice like the mewling of an abandoned kitten he whispered, ”Li-Linlin.”

Like whispering a lullaby to a baby, in a very soft but firm voice she replied, ”hmm...Linlin is here, Xuanxuan. I'm here..will always be.”
