Tang Yu Bin's frown is visible when Guan Xian tells him to press his workload into a half-day schedule. Less work for Guan Xian means more work to him. He has to reschedule the whole month and work overtime.

Sure, it won't be easy for Guan Xian either. He is not working for half-day, but rather, he only pauses his work and continues working at night. However, when Tang Yu Bin sees the bright, foolish smile on Guan Xian's face once he signs the reviewed report, the sympathy he had for him vapored.

”Tang Yu Bin, do I have another schedule after this?” Guan Xian probed as he closed a blue cased file.

”After a lunch meeting with Mr. Lemiere, you are free until eight p.m, Boss,” Tang Yu Bin said in his monotonous tone with a tight smile.

Guan Xian stood from his high chair and corrected his neat ties. He turned to Tang Yu Bin with a smile as he decided, ”Then you are dismissed for today, just make sure you check patent for our new products.”

Tang Yu Bin looks surprised as Guan Xian wears his overcoat and walks through the glass door. He followed his step shortly, asking with a confused face.

”You don't need my assistance for this lunch meeting, boss?”

Guan Xian waves his hand without turning to Tang Yu Bin. Never mind an explanation, Tang Yu Bin could not even see his shiny shoes after he passed the corner. Facing the empty, spacious office, Tang Yu Bin could only let out a sigh before he tied his tie the way Guan Xian did before.

”Very well, might as well use this for time for something useful,” he murmured to himself.

Either way, it's better to have the love slave Guan Xian than the grumpy-mood version of him. Brian Lemiere must have the same thought as Tang Yu Bin. The big smile across Guan Xian's face means he probably would have a great deal today.

”Here comes the soon-to-be groom! Look at those faces, man. Damn, marry did you well,” Brian praised Guan Xian as they did their bump fist rituals.

Guan Xian could not disagree with Brian. He does feel fantastic as his wedding day approaches. It's his own opinion, but Guan Xian feels he's getting sharper and more efficient in his works.

”Honestly, I agree with you,” Guan Xian chuckled as he took a seat opposite Brian.

Brian shook his head as he watched his friend get whipped, ”I can't wait to meet your bride. Xia Sha, isn't it? Her name,” Brian confirmed.

”Yes-” Guan Xian is about to answer when he got paused by a familiar voice near his table.

”In many cases, most people would still blame the victims of sexual something. A leaked private video, for example. I think those involved parties have the right to record everything that they want. And I believe none of the party, generally, the woman is willing to share the video with the public. But once it does, who gets the hate and the stares?”

”That sounds phenomenal. Thank You for your time, Ms.Ye Zhen Zhen.”

”Likewise, I had a great time,” Ye Zhen Zhen replied with a sweet smile. But instead of looking at her interviewer, she turns to Guan Xian.

A quirky smirk on her face is enchanting, but what's surprising is when she points at a feminine back. Guan Xian looks at her coldly. He ignores Ye Zhen Zhen's presence and turns to Brian with a wry smile.

”What happens?” Brian asked with an intrigued face.

Guan Xian shook his head, indicating he did not want to talk about things that bothered him right now. Brian raised his eyebrow and took a glance at Ye Zhen Zhen across the table. The eye contact between Guan Xian and the woman shows that they had a conflict between them. The woman smile and nods at Brian, suddenly making his feet uncomfortable.

”Your ex-girlfriend? No offense, but that's some heavy vibes coming from her,” Brian murmured as he sipped his wine.

”Don't mind her. You will meet my future wife soon. You are going to stay until my wedding, right?” Guan Xian changes the topic to lift his mood that goes rock bottom upon the sight of Ye Zhen Zhen.

”Yup, I will stay until your wedding. However, it seems to me that I will meet your fiancee sooner than I imagine,” Brian exclaims, raising both of his eyebrows upon sight of a familiar face.

”Isn't that Xia Sha over there?”
