Chapter 108 - HouZi Gang (1/2)
Seeing Fu Ya and Ming Ming, Wang Ming took multiple breaths to calm himself. His mind had finally caught up with the actions he had done earlier. He couldn't believe that he had not only kissed Fu Ya but groped her also, but what shocked him even more was that she said nothing about it, but she told him she likes him instead.
Wang Ming sighed one last time, his head felt heavy, his interaction with Fu Ya made him happy but also stressed out. He shouldn't have told her about his feelings or kissed her. He didn't want the HouZi Gang or Bo Hou Zhang to use Fu Ya as a card against him.
He didn't care about what they do to him, but if something happened to Fu Ya or Ming Ming, then he could never live with himself. If they caught someone as beautiful as Fu Ya, Wang Ming had no doubts that they would s.e.x.u.a.lly assault her.
For now he would have to deal with HouZi Gang first, as he still had no idea about who Bo Hou Zhang's backing is. He still remembers Bo Hou Zhang's terrified face when he saw Meng Hao.
Meng Hao had even warned him so unless Bo Hou Zhang and his father turned crazy they wouldn't do something like this unless they found a strong backing. Wang Ming would have to investigate further about this. He felt like Bo Hou Zhang and his father had something to do with the robbery at his restaurant, but sadly he had no evidence.
Since his father is the vice-mayor coupled with a mysterious backer, Wang Ming would have to start with HouZi Gang. If he could somehow take down Brother Hou, he could get a lot of valuable information about Bo Hou Zhang as they had cooperated once.
But then how could he do this, even though HouZi gang isn't the largest gang in China, it still has members in the thousands.
After businesses moved away from Liaoling city, many people moved out to the capital away from Liaoling city, but then there were still many people who didn't move because they of a multitude of circ.u.mstances.
If someone unites the underworld in Liaoling city, they would be the leader of one of the largest underworld gangs in China.
Wang Ming wants to do this operation alone, but there's just no way for him to do it. He would need to recruit help, there's only two persons who could help him in this situation, Peng Tong and Meng Hao.
He didn't want to involve any of them in this, at least not yet, but he would have to burden Meng Hao this time. He would be the one to infiltrate and take care of Brother Hou, but he needs someone to investigate Brother Hou's whereabouts and what his routines is.
Even though he didn't think that Brother Hou would be careless, as he's a seasoned underworld boss. But he didn't believe either that Brother Hou wouldn't slip up as soon as he did Wang Ming would be there to take care of him.
Calling Meng Hao's number, Wang Ming felt conflicted. He hoped that Meng Hao would deny his request, but if he knew this brother of his right, he would probably volunteer to help.
”Hello Meng Hao? How have you been doing?”
”What do you want, Big Brother?”
Wang Ming felt uncomfortable hearing how cold Meng Hao's response was. Had he upset Meng Hao?
”Is everything okay, Little brother? If I've done something wrong, then tell me.”
