Chapter 94 - Kiss (2/2)

Everybody had left except for one person who had said nothing to Wang Ming yet. She just kept looking at Wang Ming with a complicated look. Seeing her being silent, Wang Ming just ignored her and went into the restaurant to grab his bag that contained the knives. It took him a few minutes to find it as he had forgotten where he had placed it. It had fallen out of the closet and then buried underneath a mountain of clothes.

Qiao Meng had followed him inside the wardrobe and had observed him looking for the bag, but she still had said nothing. Wang Ming didn't know what was wrong with her. What did she want? Did she come here looking for him to just be silent? But since he was tight on time, he couldn't bicker with her now or find out what she wanted, he's half an hour later and he had tried to call Peng Tong but he didn't take the phone so he needed to hurry over.

”I need to leave now, Qiao Meng. I'm in a hurry, I have to meet Peng Tong soon, so I don't have more time to play with you. Just leave now and I'll close the door when I leave, please.”

But even after Wang Ming told her to leave, Qiao Meng just stood still, staring at his face. If he couldn't see her c.h.e.s.t moving up and down, then he would have thought that she's a statue.

”What do you want, Miss Qiao?”

Qiao Meng was still in her thoughts. She had felt so bad and horrible ever since she had the fallout with Wang Ming she had cried the whole night yesterday. She didn't even notice that Wang Ming had talked to her. She kept looking at his handsome face and about all the things she had planned to say to him, but when she saw him again, she just couldn't say anything the words wouldn't come out.

”I want you…”

”What?”

Wang Ming understood nothing. Did Qiao Meng like him? Is it why she's here to confess to him? Even though Qiao Meng's a beautiful woman, one of the most beautiful he has ever seen, but he didn't like her like that, not yet. He's definitely attracted to her who wouldn't in such a beautiful woman? But it didn't mean that he loved her yet.

When Qiao Meng saw his weird reaction, she realized that she had said that out loud. She felt fl.u.s.tered her face warmed up, but taking a deep breath she calmed down fast.

”I meant, I want you to forgive me! After you left the bank, I realize that, I didn't take your situation into account. Even though I don't agree with what you've done, I still want us to be like before. Once again, I'm sorry, Wang Ming!”

”Don't be, I was stubborn too. I'm sorry Qiao Meng. I felt hurt when you dismissed me like that at the bank. But I should have tried to talk with you instead of walking off. I understand why you acted like that you're a police officer, you can't let someone walk off after they've broken the law. But this might not be the last time you see me breaking the law, next time just take me in. Okay?”

”Mhm.”

Wang Ming then pulled Qiao Meng into a hug, even though Wang Ming had tried to not think about her. Their quarrel had weighed down on his mind. But now it's over.

Being face to face with each other made Qiao Meng's face heat again, but this time she couldn't calm down as Wang Ming was so close to her, she could feel his breath on her neck, which tickled her. Looking at Wang Ming's lips, Qiao Meng couldn't hold it in anymore and gave him a long kiss before running away.

Seeing her walk away like a high school girl, kissing her crush for the first time, made Wang Ming smile.
