The police came only a few minutes after Wang Ming had subdued the robbers, though this time they didn't know who Wang Ming was, so they wanted to take him back to the station for questioning. But since Wang Ming had all the victims on his side, everybody had vouched and will testify that Wang Ming only killed in self defence and to protect them. Seeing his overwhelming support, the police couldn't do anything either and would come for questioning another time, Qiao Meng didn't even need to say anything.

The victims had all stayed close by the restaurant they all waited for Wang Ming to come out victorious, which he did, after he came out of the restaurant together with the police they all gathered around him and threw him up in the air, to thank him. They threw Qiao Meng up in the air also as if she hadn't sacrificed herself, then maybe an innocent person would have died today.

The tossing lasted over a minute, which made both Wang Ming and Qiao Meng dizzy after they got put down. The police took this moment to break him the bad news.

”Thank you, Mr. Wang for saving all the hostages, sadly we will have to close your restaurant for a week to gather evidence, you may take anything that you don't think is evidence with you, but if it's anything important, then please leave it.”

Wang Ming sighed, as this would lose him a million yuan. But it's also a good timing as he still needed to find a new meat supplier. Not only this, he would need to go through the jade association sometime to get his jewelry and then buy a new house. Since he can't live in his restaurant this week, buying a house is top priority. He's also a millionaire now people would laugh at him knowing that he lives in his own restaurant.

”It's fine I'll just grab a bag.”

”Thanks for your understanding, we'll go now. If you remember anything vital to the case, then please call us. We will also call you if we need further help.”

”Goodbye!”

He thought that the celebrations were over already as the victims had left with the police, but it was now Louzheng, Uncle Hou, Fu Jinhai and uncle Hou's time to give him hugs.

”Nephew, I can't believe that you saved us! I really can't judge a book by its cover, I thought they would catch you, but you've clearly practiced martial arts! In my entire career, I've never encountered something like this ever! Who would rob a restaurant?! But don't you worry, nephew, I will help you investigate this.”

Seeing that Wang Ming disapproved of this, Zhang Hou silenced him with his seniority.

”I'm your UNCLE,. You listen to me, unless you don't see me as your uncle, I'll figure it out for you. You just relax and open your restaurant after a week. I'll keep training Fu Jinhai so he can be independent when your restaurant opens up again, don't you worry.”

Since Uncle Hou had used his seniority, there was nothing else Wang Ming could say other than to agree.

”Thank you, Uncle!”

After this, all the others also came up to give Wang Ming hugs and said their thank you. Gao Xingjuan even kissed Wang Ming on his cheek, which made her face red as a tomato after. The only one that couldn't give him a hug was Louzheng, but it didn't mean he appreciated Wang Ming any less.

”Thank god, everybody is safe. I'll send you all a message when I open the restaurant again. I hope you aren't afraid after this event, this shouldn't happen often! But to compensate all of you, I'll double your salary! Now go home, take a breather, eat good and relax, I'll pay you guys one month salary in advance from my pocket. Just enjoy!”

The group then left after Wang Ming sent them away, though it was only Gao Xingjuan that were happy for the salary increase, as both Louzheng and Fu Jinhai didn't care about money at all.
