Chapter 83 - Bank (1/2)

After telling Uncle Hou and Fu Jinhai about all the details, he bid them both farewell. He felt happy that he could finally use his energy on something else. Though he would still need to be there for the next few days, to ensure that Fu Jinhai gives out the same quality food like he does.

He didn't think hiring a chef would be so fast, initially he thought it would take at least a few days before finding someone that would fit what he needs.

Wang Ming headed to the bank next. Even though he's earning a lot of money now, he will need a lot of money to open the next few restaurants. The best way to secure a large fund would be to loan it from a bank. The more money you have, the more money you can earn.

His goal now is to earn enough money to open a company and all the restaurants will be under the company's supervision. He estimated that he would at least need a 3-4 hundred million yuan. There's no way they would give him such a big loan, but if they would give him a 10-20 million loan, then that would be more than enough.

Luckily, Wang Ming found a taxi as soon as he got out from the Blue Mountain cafe. It was right before the rush would start, so if he didn't get that taxi, he would probably have had to wait at least an hour for a taxi.

”Where to? Wait, Wang Ming?”

Since the taxidriver had on a coat and a hat which covered his face so Wang Ming couldn't see who it was. His words caught Wang Ming off guard as he didn't know any taxi drivers why would he know who he was? But since they knew it was him, he had no reason to lie.

”Yes, Why? Do I know you?”

The taxi driver then took off the hat to show his face.

”Brother Hui, you scared the crap out of me! I thought you wanted to rob me or something.”

Sorry, I'm hiding out for a bit, that's why I have the hat on.

”Please take me to a near bank please. Now why are you hiding?”

Brother Hui then nodded but said nothing more. It didn't seem like he wanted to share his problem with Wang Ming, so he didn't press him. Brother Hui drove him to the nearest bank, which wasn't far away at all. Brother Hui kept looking around when he was driving, like he was afraid that someone would stop his car to rob him.

But nothing ever happened it only took him 15 minutes to drive to the bank. If Wang Ming knew earlier that there was a bank so close he could have run to it. It would have taken him 30 minutes maximum.

”Thanks Brother Hui, I don't know what your problem is, but if you need help, call me.”

Giving 500 yuan to Brother Hui for the fare, Wang Ming exited the taxi. He didn't take the change as he thought that Brother Hui's problem's related to money.

The bank that Brother Hui had taken him to wasn't a large one, it was actually fairly small, only as big as a convenience store. Is this bank even capable of giving a loan? He thought. But as most banks deal little in cash anymore, the banks don't need to be that big to give out a substantial loan.

Since the bank's size wasn't that large, they didn't have that many workers, Wang Ming saw only 10 people, total 9 bankers and one guard. Though there were over 20 guests here already, which meant that he had to wait in queue, so he grabbed his number and sat down to wait.

Wang Ming didn't know why he's usually a patient person, but for queue's like this he hated it. Even though only 20 minutes went by before his turn, Wang Ming felt like each minute that went by felt like hours. Though finally coming at his turn, Wang Ming took a deep breath to calm himself down, put on a smile and went to talk with the banker.

He felt a bit nervous talking to the banker as even if he earns a lot of money he hasn't had the restaurant open for more than a month, it could just be a fluke he earned so much money.

”Hello, sir. What do you need today?”

Seeing the woman talk in a gentle and professional way, Wang Ming breathed a sigh and said.

”I want to get a loan for 20 million yuan, but if you can't do that, then 10 million is also acceptable.”

The banker couldn't believe that Wang Ming wanted a loan for 20 million yuan, as Wang Ming had forgotten to dress up today he looked just like an average person. She had to have heard it wrong. She thought.
