Evlin was soaring through the sky like a missile.

Under normal circumstances, she would be completely terrified of flying and would be absolutely frozen right now.

But right at this moment, Chloe's safety was all she had in mind. She already had lost her mother, her sister, and her brother-in-law to Mia. She couldn't afford to lose anyone else.

”Come on, come on!!!” She kept saying as she continued to release healing magic to boost her speed and flapped her wings while flying at sixty miles per hour.

She finally spotted the building and tried to lower her speed as she approached it. She was in a hurry to save her friend but she still couldn't be careless about the situation. As she approached the window she finally saw what was making Chloe so nervous.

Her therapist was crouching on a corner unable to stop shaking while a massive beast made of wood glared at her. Evlin then realized that the beast was talking to her. ”Where... Is... Evlin!!!??”

”I don't know!! I called her like you said! Just please let me go!!” Chloe said looking like she was about to cry at any second.

Evlin gained some distance from the building, then took aim of Chloe's window while taking a deep breath and proceeded to propel herself into it completely crashing against the wall.

The beast turned around as the sound of the wall being destroyed called his attention, but before he could even react a golden claw was coming at him and slammed his body against the office's wall.

”Aaaahhh!!!” Chloe began to scream absolutely terrified from Evlin's entrance. She closed her eyes for a moment while the shattered glass of her window finished spreading itself across the room and finally looked at the scene in front of her. Another beast, this time covered in golden hair and with wings on its back, holding the wooden beast with her bare hands.

”Chloe!! Are you ok?? Did this thing hurt you??” Evlin said while continuing to hold the beast.

”What?? Who...??” The woman with curly hair simply lost all sense of what was happening anymore and was unable to form words.

While Evlin was distracted, the wooden monster took this chance and slashed her stomach with a wooden claw.

”Graaaahhhh!!” Evlin screamed as the pain started to spread. Luckily her golden form was quite resistant to physical attacks so she didn't take much damage.

”What's going on!!??” Chloe said while turning her gaze from Evlin to the beast.

”Chloe, just get out of here!! It's not safe!!” Evlin said while trying to heal her wound with magic.

”That voice... Evlin...? Evlin is that you...?”

”I told you to get out of here!!!” Evlin said as she pounced on the creature. But the monster leaped out of the way and landed right in front of Chloe.

”Aaaahhh!!!” The woman began to scream again at the sight of the beast and became frozen with fear.

The beast looked at her and started to get annoyed with her noise. He tried to pierce her with the horns that were coming out of his head, but Evlin jumped in and pushed her out of the way in the last second.

”Gotcha!!” She said as she placed Chloe in her arms.

”E- Evlin?? Is that really you?? What's happening?? What is that thing?? Why do you look like this?”

”Huh... How do I put this... Oh! I know!! This is all a dream!”

”Wha...?” Chloe then stared at a mirror that was right next to then and returned to look at Evlin once again. ”No, it's not... You can't see your reflection in a dream!”

”... Oh, come on, Chloe... Work with me...”

Evlin was then pushed out of the building from the same hole she created once the beast jumped on her with all its weight.

”Aaaaahh!!!” Chloe who was on Evlin's arms suddenly began to scream again as she started to fall towards the pavement.

”Chloe!!” Evlin rushed to fetch her but the beast was right behind her dropping like a meteor to grab her.

Evlin turned around and changed her bracelets into a gauntlet to smack the creature into the sky. ”Gruaaahhhh!!!” the beast screamed as it started to gain altitude. Spirits don't feel any pain so Evlin assumed that was probbaly a scream of anger.

”Ok... Now, where was I...? Oh, right!!” Evlin spotted Chloe falling at a very dangerous speed and rushed to save her just seconds before reaching the ground.

”Argh... Adba... Baad... Haga...” Chloe was trying to form words but the adrenaline was going to her heard and making it impossible to think straight.

”Chloe, calm down... Just relax a little and breathe... Just breathe...”

”Evlin!!??” The woman said as she grabbed Evlin's collar. ”What was that? What was that? What was that? What was that?”

”It's... A long story...”

As Evlin continued to try and think of a way to explain the situation she realized that some kind of light was starting to surround the two of them.

”What the...?” Evlin looked up and saw a ball of electricity coming right at their position. ”What the hell???”

She hugged Chloe with her golden arms and leaped out of the way. The place she was standing on just a few moments ago was completely blown up, leaving only a crater and a pile of smoke remaining.

”What was that? What was that? What was that? What was that?” This time it was Evlin's turn to feel lost. She looked up and saw that the creature was charging electricity from its gigantic wooden horns while sticking to the building's wall using its claws. ”An electric, wooden, possessed bull monster?? Are you for real???”
