Chapter 156 - Promote Horniness (1/2)

”I can understand you?”

The salamander's question struck everyone's mind as they thought the same thing. 'How can Albert say something in the Salamander's language?'

It was clear that they had been talking in the same language, so if the salamander couldn't understand the elves or Shella, it was impossible for the salamander to understand Albert's language.

Such a situation put the elf leader in a dilemma. On the one hand, he wanted to fight this salamander, thinking this was the cause of the eruption. On the other hand, the salamander seemed to be extremely strong and casualties might increase if they fought to the end.

If Albert could actually persuade the salamander, it would certainly be better.

After getting that question, Albert sighed and said, ”Yes. I'm using a special spell. So, I've understood your words since the beginning.”

The salamander looked at Albert for a moment before saying, ”What year is now?”

That question confused Albert as he also never knew the date. He looked at Shella and asked, ”What year is it now?”

”Sun Calendar, Year 1200 Month 6 Date 4.”

”Sun Calendar, Year 1200 Month 6 Date 4,” Albert repeated Shella's answer so that the salamander could understand.

”Sun Calendar? It's not Lunar Age?” The salamander was stupefied.

”Lunar Age?” Albert tilted his head in confusion.

”Lunar Age is the previous era. I don't have any information about the Lunar Age as it's not my area of research.” Shella shook her head in disappointment.

Suddenly, the elf leader added, ”There was a huge invasion during the end of the Lunar Age. All kingdoms united, but they couldn't defeat their enemies. In the end, they came into hiding. Because of this invasion, the monsters reproduced greatly and repopulated the entire continent.

”When the new beginning came, we separated ourselves from the rest of the elves. Any information of the end of the Lunar Age had been sealed, and not many knew about this anymore as though they were hiding this information from public eyes.”

Albert tried to convey the information to the salamander.

Surprisingly, the salamander flared up in anger as he shouted, ”Huh?! Have they died? If they died during that time, wouldn't it mean I have no one to stop me anymore?”

As if he realized there was nothing that could stop him anymore, the salamander released its killing intent. ”Hahahaha! I'm going to be the king of this continent then.”

Without hesitation, the salamander directed his killing intent to the elves, Shella and Albert.

”!!!” All of them widened their eyes as they realized the salamander wasn't here to come to an agreement. He just wanted to check the situation.

If this continued, the salamander might kill them and head outside. Although he didn't care much about outside, considering there were many stronger people than the salamander, it wouldn't mean much if he died in this place.

In other words, no matter what happened, he needed to survive.

”Are you going to kill us?” Albert frowned as he glared at the salamander.

He was slightly astonished by the salamander's arrogance. Even though his level was only less than 300, his arrogance knew no bounds. It was clear that the previous era didn't have anyone stronger than level 300.

In other words, the only reason why they were exterminated in the last era was due to how weak they were in the past.

'Still, this is serious stuff. Invasion? All I want is a peaceful life… But still, it's been 1200 years since the last invasion, so I guess we're good?' Albert thought while glancing at Shella, signaling her to escape together with him as soon as he gave a signal.

When he heard Albert's question, the salamander laughed and glared at Albert. ”Ah, all of you can die, but you can't. I'm going to make you follow me as I conquer this place. After all, I need someone that can translate their language.”

”Run!” Albert shouted as he leaped away. Shella followed suit.

The salamander opened his mouth and prepared to release its fire breath to extinguish Shella and trap Albert.

However, the elves attacked him.

A few stone pillars rose from the ground and fell on top of the salamander, trying to pin him down to the ground.

The salamander still moved and even shook his body to get rid of these pillars.

Seeing such a situation, the elves summoned more stones and placed them on top of his body.

The flame on the salamander's body suddenly flared up and melted the stone. The molten lava flowed to the ground while the salamander ignored the elves and headed straight to Albert. No matter what, he needed to catch Albert first.

”He's ignoring us?” The elf leader furrowed his eyebrows, looking at the salamander's back.

”What should we do? If the salamander leaves, won't our trouble be solved?” Another elf approached him and asked for his opinion.

”We'll follow them. There is a chance that the monster will return to this place after getting what he wants. So, it's better to use that pair for hunting the monster down. With this, we won't need to worry anymore.” The leader replied, assessing their situation.

”But you should have seen the power that the monster has… He can ignore us like this because our strength is not worth his time. Even if we go, there's a high chance that we'll be wiped out.”

”That doesn't mean we should let go of this opportunity either. No matter what, that monster will be a threat to our place. For now, three of you are to go back to the village and evacuate the people to the nearest town. The rest of you will kill the monster with me. If we don't go back, don't seek revenge. Just do your best to go to the heart of the kingdom as soon as you can because if the Lust Kingdom can't deal with the salamander, then no one can.” The elf leader instructed them as though it was his last order.

”No. We should talk about this first.”

”The longer we talk, the farther the salamander is. You bring two people with you and evacuate. The rest will follow me,” said the leader with a strict tone as he didn't have any more time to spare to argue with him.
