Hua Zhendan turned around to look at Xuan Tianyi. ”Tell me. What's going on between you and Tan Yao?”
”Why'd you ask that?”
”You don't have to answer.” Hua Zhendan sat up. ”I'll just go get ready for work. And you probably should as well. You have stuff to do. Your boss won't forgive you if you're late.”

”Are you asking me these questions because you think there's something between us or because you like him?”
”What?” Hua Zhendan stopped and gave him a look that said 'Idiot'.
”I kissed him once.”
Hua Zhendan sighed. Calmly, he said, ”Get out.”
”But you wanted to know.”
”You lied. I didn't even say yes to you yet and you're already telling me lies.”
”I didn't lie. I kissed him, but it didn't mean anything. I did because he said he thought that being gay was disgusting. I just did it to prove a point.”
”Would you have slept with him to prove your point?”
”No. I wouldn't have. I hate the guy.”
