199 Blood Fountain (1/2)

As Linri was thinking about how to proceed next he saw liquid rising from the ground again. He immediately guarded his face thinking it was another [Kallipos' Fury] but he was wrong. The liquid rising from the ground was not water. It was blood!

[Blood Manipulation]

All the blood they and Leon had spilt had now become a weapon for Fosse. As a vampire the longer a fight dragged on the stronger he would be. The tiny droplets of blood started hitting the now slowed down golden raindrops and exploding.

It was taking immense brainpower from Fosse to do something like this. This was a newly gained ability. Despite being natural at manipulating blood due to his vampiric heritage it was still hard for him. Blood started to drip from his nose. While countering the [Kallipos' Fury] Fosse would not be able to do anything else. Now it was up to Rondo and Rina to finish of Leon.

[Static Cling] X [Electic Slide]

To get a better angle for attack Rina clung to the wall and dashed towards Leon's direction while firing lightning bolts. She managed to destroy Leon's barrier and got a couple of good hits. Leon should be on his last breath!

It seemed like Rondo and Kou were also thinking the same thing. They both dashed towards Leon. Rondo slashed with his sword while Kou managed to pierce Leon in the chest with her wind lance. This was exactly what she was waiting for!

[Ex-Burst: Kamikaze]

Leon was lifted off the ground as a mini-tornado appeared below him. Kou started to fly as well and started slashing Leon from every direction. She was too fast for their eyes to follow. It was like multiple Kous was on the battlefield hitting Leon from every possible direction. As she was about to deal what seemed to be the final blow Leon struck!

[Aqua Jet]

Leon started to shoot in every direction from his body. He did not know where Kou was so this was the only thing he could do. However, it was good enough. With this, he was able to disrupt Kou's combo and finally escape from the mini-tornado under him.

[Kallipos' Fury] finally stopped and Fosse was able to catch his breath. He focused on Leon to see he was cleaved in half starting from his chest. Even though the smell of blood was intoxicating to him this was still too much! Leon was spurting out blood like a fountain before his body disintegrated. That scene was burnt to his eyes and he wanted to throw up.

”What? I wasn't about to listen to his egoistical bullshit again” said Linri as he wiped off the blood from his face. What he did was pretty simple actually. Using his ability to manipulate fire he just commanded the sword to go upwards which created the scene we saw just now.

Since he was tortured way worse than this by Udcek, Linri was not bothered by the sight he just saw. The same was true for Rina and Yui. Rina was a member of the Hagane clan and she probably saw stuff way worse than this. As for Yui, she was either too good at hiding what she was thinking or she was similar to Rina.

Kou, Rondo and Fosse, on the other hand, looked pale. They were modern people who did not saw any bloodshed in their lives. Especially, Kou who had a naive mentality. This was apparent by the fact that despite looking pale neither Rondo or Fosse threw up while Kou was puking outside the window. Condolences to any poor soul who was passing through under that window at that moment.

As the fight was over Linri looked at his stats to see how much prana he had left.
