135 Deva Association (2/2)

”I see. . . ., very well. It would be pointless to keep you assigned to the subject any longer in your current state, I will assign someone else to be his watcher. You are relieved of your duties” stated Lord Asura causing the Watcher to look up only for a poisonous blade of energy to crash into him rotting him to a pile of bones.

Around the room several weather worn men and a few sadistic looking women, seeing the sight none of them so much as flinched. These were the generals of the Deva Association though there ranking was nothing but a name they were all just pawns to be played with at the behest of Lord Asura.

”Bring in one of our youngest recruits” commanded Lord Asura smirking deviously.

'To watch this youth more carefully it is better that we remain closer by his side. . . .” thought Lord Asura as he watched a person of similar age to Draig come in.

”Hello Granddaughter, I hope that your training has treated you well.” smiled Lord Asura with a sickening grin.

The girl in question looked towards the man she called grandfather and simply nodded, she waited patiently for Lord Asura to tell her the reasoning behind her summon which yet again caused the man to smile.

”I have a task that I need to you to carry out for an unforeseen amount of time. An interesting youth has finally made his way into my beloved country, my wish is for you to learn of his secrets by any means necessary and report back to me. I stress the point of any means necessary, his possession of multiple Avatars as well as his unique Talisman ability is something I must learn. If this is not possible then I must bring him into my fold, do you understand” asked Lord Asura as he made his greed for this person known to the occupants of the room.

The girl kneeling below the seated people dropped her head similar to the Watcher that had been slain.

”It will be done Grandfather. . . .” stated the girl causing Lord Asura to nod in a pleased manner.

”Then be off, make yourself known to the one called Draig and befriend him” dismissed Lord Asura as the girl took her leave.

'Soon I will have the crowing jewel of my Deva Association, perhaps he will be able to achieve what I have and steal the future with me' thought Lord Asura as he mused around in his head of the potential Draig held.
