130 Dorm of Silence (1/2)

Draig sat emotionlessly in the main area of the Dorm, his thoughts were undistinguishable as he continued to look out over the empty courtyard.

He hadn't known the people of Dorm E personally but that didn't change the fact that he missed the liveliness of the wretches that had once called this place home. He didn't interact with them in the short time he had been here but that was just the type of person he was, he had grown from the ruthless Heir to the strongest Vampire lineage into someone he didn't know how to explain. It seemed simpler in the old world, his path clearer so to speak.

Now though he was just another Deva, if he had to account his solemness it was the day he had learned of the fate of his allies in his home world. He hadn't expressed to them his earnest feelings due to the childishness of his nature, his Vampiric Heritage seemed to be the blockade that he used to prevent himself from making meaningful bonds.

'What's my excuse now. . .' thought Draig as his gaze went to the cup of tea he had been brought earlier that morning, it still sat there having grown cold.

He had released Keiko from her collar feeling that he couldn't find the mood to toy with the girl any longer, Ari and Yuki had stopped by to visit occasionally during the weeks that had passed since the genocide of Dorm E to check on him oddly.

Ginji and Aoi hadn't spoken to him since the incident causing the Feratu to feel even more alone than normal, it was a feeling he knew well. Growing as a child spited by those around him he knew the feeling of being truly alone even when surrounded by people. This was a feeling he had come to use as fuel for his hate during those years allowing him to continue on despite the opposition.

Looking towards the sky he watched as the clouds began to grow dark and thunder started to rumble among them.

'Even the heavens find it difficult to remain bright all the time. . .' noted Draig mentally, he continued to sit in silence unaware that there was a group of people on their way to meet him.

”Boru, you should know better than to allow someone to do as they please regardless of your brother's wrong doings” sneered a woman who looked more like a bandit than a Deva, the large club on her back covered in spikes.

”If you had seen this person in action you would have done the same, besides Tsukuba had crossed the line entirely this time. He annihilated a whole Dorm over a petty squabble, do you think the Deva Association will continue to turn a blind eye to mindless slaughter” countered Boru looking to the woman woman with crimson hair.

At their side was an odd assortment of people, nine of them to be exact. Each wearing a Sash to display their station as Disciplinary Committee members however on each of their wardrobes was a symbol representing a Faction. They had their sights set on Dorm E and the occupant inside at the moment, their pace was slow but meaningful as they each carried a weapon different from the last however among them was one person carrying a sword though it seemed more like a farming sickle than a Sword.

Soon the group came before the gates of the Dorm and laid their eyes on Draig sitting silently staring at the clouds.

”Is this the person you were talking about” asked the woman who was apparently the leader of the Disciplinary Committee looking towards Bory doubtfully.

”That is him, don't let his persona fool you. He is a dangerous person” answered Boru not afraid to admit his hesitance to deal with the Feratu.

Draig continued to stare at the storm clouds building for some time until he decided to acknowledge the presence of his guests scanning over them with his eyes though this seemed to have an odd effect on the woman with the club.

'Such pretty eyes' remarked the woman staring at those crimson orbs that contained too many things to be able to decipher.

The two parties stared at one another for some time but neither spoke, Draig seeing that they wouldn't speak returned to staring at the clouds somberly.
