129 A Message pt 2 (2/2)

”He. . . is telling the truth. Tsukuba is the one who has tortured us” answered one of the victims of Tsukuba's wrath.

Draig nodded and began walking towards Tsukuba dangerously, the youth knew now that there was nothing to save him from the anger of Feratu and began pleading in hopes it would show some success. Allowing him to live another day.

”Wait, don't kill me. I can give you anything you want, women, meal tickets, ores, just don't kill me and it can all be yours” trembled Tsukuba as he squirmed on the ground bleeding from his shoulders attempting to put space between himself and Draig.

”What I want you are not capable of giving” stated Draig as his hand flashed forward ripping open Tsukuba's rib cage and plucking his heart from it's resting place.

The people gathered watched the scene with morbid fascination as Draig did something unspeakable for them and actually bit into the heart as if it was an apple, Tsukuba watched this as his life faded. The final thing he could ever witness was his heart being ripped out before his eyes, Boru on the other hand was watching Draig with a slight intimdated look.

Draig ignored the people watching and chewed only twice before spitting it out.

”Disgustingly rotten, I should have known” stated Draig as he turned to those Deva who had been tortured by Tsukuba causing them to flinch.

However a certain cleric's image imposed himself over Draig's image giving him a holy aura as he used the talent of the class to heal their wounds despite the debilitating sickness the energy caused him.

Keiko, Ari, and Yuki just watched the scene unfold in wonder.

”How do you know this guy again. . .” asked Keiko as she was trying to piece together how her two guards would be associated with this type of person.

”We met when we were kids, he stayed with Yuki providing our clans with charms” answered Ari as she looked at the formidable figure Draig imposed. Though the holy aura as he healed the wounded made him seem like a great protector of sorts.

”Charms? Did you really fall for that” asked Keiko causing the girls to look at her oddly.

”Your wearing them as a collar remember, he is no con man” answered Yuki causing Keiko to blush in embarrassment as she had forgotten she was in fact wearing a collar.

Boru off to the side picked up his brother's corpse taking the arms as well, Draig saw this and wondered if this person was really satisfied with this result.

”I know what you are thinking, I will be honest. I have long since been dissatisfied with Tsukuba's ways, it was only a matter of time before he provoked someone like you and met his end. In other words if it hadn't been you then it would have been someone else down the line, however I can take solace knowing that he had truly wronged you and was not killed for some petty offense” stated Boru as he began leaving, he had said what he needed to and no longer saw it fit to stay among these people his brother had accosted.

'Such an interesting mortal' thought Draig as he resumed his healing of the wounded though he received frightened looks in response.
