105 Swordplay (2/2)
”Where was I at” asked Junko to see if Draig was really listening.
”You had just finished speaking of Devil Level threats and was moving on to the next category” answered Draig causing the girl to smile a bit more.
”Next you have the Deity level Threats, these are crafty demons that have attained a certain amount of control over their mystical abilities and have even managed to spread their influence to control other abilities. These are rare to see but not unheard of as they are patient and comfortable waiting for the right moment to strike, their power is not higher than a Devil Level threat but their crafty plans make them far more deadly” explained Junko enjoying the thought of someone genuinely enjoying one of her lectures.
”Next you have Divine level threats, they have mastered the control of their abilities and are far more intelligent than their lesser counterparts. These are the truly rare and may only appear once every few decades if at all, their power dwarfs Devil level threats by ten fold and their intelligence varies but will multiply that threat even further” explained Junko with a shiver, it seemed this Divine level threat was something serious which caused Draig to quirk an eyebrow.
”What about an Immortal level threat” asked Draig as he hadn't heard Junko mention that.
”Immortal level threats are so powerful that they are almost impossible to be killed, the last time an Immortal level threat it took all of the Dynasties finest warriors and the Deva association's strongest masters to defeat it and it still ended with mutual destruction” stated Junko with a sort of tremor as she thought of the terrifying creature causing Draig to pat her softly which seemed to be a signal to the girl as she latched onto him.
It seemed to be with perfect timing and location as the Emperor and his children stepped out of the double doors on the side in time to see this interaction.
”Draig? Have you taken an interest in young Junko here” asked the Emperor with a sly smile.
”It's not what you think, I was only comforting her” started Draig but realizing how it sounded he sighed.
”Be sure you don't 'Comfort' her too much” stated the Emperor with narrowed eyes.
He liked Draig and he may have set him as the prerequisite to choose an Heir but didn't mean he was gonna let the Feratu slut around with his Granddaughters.
”Indeed” stated Hideki from behind with narrowed eyes as he kept flicking his sword from it's sheath before letting it click back in place.
'Why do I always end up surrounded by lunatics' thought Draig looking towards the sky.
In a spacious cavern the woman sat there with a laugh as she watched the hilarity of the situation.
”Simple little Vampy, it amuses me” smiled the Woman as she stepped away from the orb and stretched her tired limbs.
It seemed Draig's fate was not his own but how long would that last...
