93 The Decision (1/2)
Draig had come up with no decision still and thus the woman decided to act but seeing this Draig spoke abruptly.
”Runes” blurted out Draig as he had just been thinking of the skill before cursing internally.
The woman smirked at finally receiving an answer, she then looked through the number of worlds she gazed upon and smiled deceptively.
”It is often said that the pen is mightier than the sword, given this opportunity I think we should test this theory” Stated the woman as she showed Draig the image of people with swords fighting demons with odd powers channeled through their blades.
”The world you are about to become apart of is quite interesting as comapred to this one, they use only their blades and their inner energy to ward off the evil that attempts to lay seige to them. It really is quite amazing, they learn to channel their energy through an avatar of sorts which is dependant on their teachings or their own developement. Truly a marvelous place and I am so excited to see you go” laughed the woman as she began waving her hands over Draig causing him to realize the woman was becoming taller and the room seemed to become bigger.
”What have you done to me” growled Draig only to realize it wasn't the voice he had become accustomed to using as an older youth.
He looked down at his hands to find them to be a bit pudgy and his clothes seemed much too big for his body.
”Funny, you were such a cute kid” smiled the woman as she leaned down and pinched Draig's cheek.
”What is the meaning of this” demanded Draig though his intimidation factor had been cut many folds by the childish face that attempted the glare.
”Simple, I wish for you to grow up in this world as if you were one of them. Now be good and entertain me well” chuckled the woman as the mist from the globe surrounding the image began to swirl around Draig and pull him into it's imagery.
'Damn you woman' cursed Draig internally as he found himself falling asleep.
He would later wake to find himself in an odd slum of sorts, the architecture was that of feudal japan and the odd building style was interesting to the youth turned child.
Draig explored for a bit and found that he truly was in the slums of this city, he made for an odd sight to the normal populace though apparently not enough to warrant dislike.
'I suppose I should try and learn a bit more about this place and find a source of income while I am at it' thought Draig as he began walking around keeping an ear out for anything of interest.
It was a few hours later that Draig seemed to have realized that the people here were actually faring a bit better than the main city, a war had apparently been going on and the Red light District was doing well only because the shadier business dealing's that they did. Another thing he had learned was the fact that the apparent fighting force of this world were called Devas, or rather Angels as he would know them.
