35 Opening a new world (2/2)

Sylvie rushed out for a few minutes before returning with one of the monster's that had been held in the coliseum.

Draig wasted no time and completely devoured it, body and all. His form slowly filled out until he finally regained his former image, his eyes were still a bit dilated but he felt replenished.

”Alright, lets explore. Open the rift like I showed you” said Zarra standing off to the side.

Draig summoned the rift and stepped in with Zarra, the sight that welcomed them was somewhat disappointing in Draig's opinion it was blackness with a small piece of land. It was barely large enough to put a cottage on.

”Not bad, though when I first opened mine it held a mountain” stated Zarra looking around.

”What is this” asked Draig feeling a bit let down.

”Simple this is your inner world, and it's time that I explain a little bit. I am not a Dark mage as everyone believes, I originally started with that specialized class but after advancing a few times I became something greater. I became a Compendium Magician, that is what gave me access to the inner world. I was able to master many different magical arts using my class's inherent ability and that is what brought about my grand reputation. It is truly the reason I stand above others to this day, you gaining this from my doppelganger was a blessing the likes you could never believe.” explained Zarra

”Surely there is more to it than that.” stated Draig looking at the Mage differently

”Indeed, but that is something I will explain to you later if it becomes necessary. This place is literally your own world, the more you add to it the stronger you will become.” stated Zarra reminiscing a bit.

”How do I add to it” asked Draig with interest

”Simple at the heart of that little chunk of land should be a crystal, charging your mana into will expand the reaches of that landmass and add more to this world in general. This can almost be considered a legacy in it's own right but now you know a bit about it, as for the rest of it's secrets I will let you discover those on your own.” said Zarra finishing his speech.

Draig was impressed with the grandness of this ability, he and Zarra exited and Draig had to reel himself in from wanting to grow it as rapidly as possible.

”Zarra, thank you” said Draig looking at the the Mage with sincere gratitude.

”Of course my boy” said Draig with a longing smile.

Draig had realized the words used and was about to speak up but Zarra had left quickly leaving Draig with more questions.
