148 Miss Teri (1/2)
Within a span of almost an hour, Wang Reiji and Rentao had arrived at the lobby of the hotel where Miss Teri held a gown exhibit for two days. Unlike Lady Tong, Miss Teri was not popular in Beijing. But she was an instant hit in the international scene. That was why when she got back to her country, she was determined to get her name known. Thanks to the confidence she earned from her fame overseas, Miss Teri was now ready to conquer the local world of fashion by storm. So, when she was asked by a well-reputed hotel chain to dress up its model, she willingly took on the job without any trace of hesitation.
”Congratulations, Miss Teri! Our country is so lucky to have such an outstanding fashion designer like yourself. Your gowns are breathtakingly beautiful and elegant.” One reporter showered Miss Teri with praises.
”Why do you have to hide your face behind a mask? Are you not confident with your looks?”
A middle-aged female reporter asked.
”I heard rumors that a prestigious beauty pageant had already commissioned you to design the gown of their candidates. Can you please confirm this one?” Another reporter moved closer to the designer to ask her a question.
However, Miss Teri did not bother to answer the questions fired at her by the reporters. She just simply lowered her head down at them and to everybody else around as she continued to walk away from the growing crowd of curious and nosy reporters and head to the elevator.
The reporters were about to run after Miss Teri but her security team was quick on their feet and was able to block the horde of reporters just in the nick of time.
'Ding!'
As the doors of the elevators slid open, Miss Teri and some of her crew immediately stepped inside, leaving many disappointed media people behind who cannot follow them anymore since more security personnel arrived at the scene to block them.
”I will go to my room first. I want to rest for a while. Kindly notify our guests from Oriental Europa that I will just be taking a quick rest and freshen up after.”Miss Teri informed and instructed her crew as they passed along the corridors of the 27th floor of the hotel.
”Keep them entertained especially Mr. Rentao, he is the secretary of the Oriental Europa's CEO.” Miss Teri added as her steps halted right in front of the room she was staying in all throughout the length of the exhibit. Based on her words, it seemed like Miss Teri did not even have the slightest idea that the model who will be wearing some of her masterpieces was actually the CEO and owner of Oriental Europa.
