Later in the afternoon, the clear pleasant sky suddenly turned grey and the pitter patter of rain started to dissipate the heat.

At first, it was just a gentle shower of numerous droplets. But as time passed by, the pellets of water began to create scattered paddles on the garden pavement.

”Looks like it will take some time for the rain to stop.” Butler Quan said as he looked up to the sky.

”Are you sure, sir?” Europa looked at him with eyes full of disappointment.

”Yes, Miss Europa. Look at the clouds above. They are still dark and heavy.”

The little girl then turned her gaze to the sky. Seeing that the clouds were indeed dark, she frowned. How can they go on a boat ride?

”Don't be sad, little Miss. You can always go on a boat ride on your next visit here.” Butler Quan said, trying to cheer Europa up.

However, it seemed like Butler Quan's words failed to reach Europa as the little girl continued frowning.

”Don't you believe me, Miss Europa? Well, you can confirm it with your mother. Look, she is heading this way together with your uncle.” Butler Quan tried his best to divert Europa's attention.

With a disappointed look on her face, Europa turned her head and saw her favorite persons walking towards them. Wang Yuvin was carrying the umbrella that shielded them from the rain while Wang Reiji's arms held a pink unicorn print raincoat.

Soon as they set foot inside the pagoda-style pavilion, Europa rushed to her mother and firmly held her hand.

Wang Reiji squeezed her daughter's soft palms before lowering her head down to meet the little girl's sad gaze.

”Hmmm what's the matter, dear? You seem upset.”

Instead of answering her mother's query, Europa gently pulled her mother's hand to show her the man-made lake.

”I see. Did you want to try the boat ride? Sadly, we can't stay here for long my dear. We need to set out before the rain gets stronger, am I right bro?” Wang Reiji said as she threw a 'convince your niece look' at Wang Yuvin.

”Yes, your mother is correct. Also, we have to prepare Misha's things to make sure she will be living comfortably with us.”

The little girl then turned her attention to her cat. She patted its head before giving the lake one last look and suppressing all her wish to get on the unicorn boat.

”We will just try it next time. Let's bid Grandpa Luo goodbye then.”

”Allow me to inform the chairman first about your departure.” Butler Quan interrupted.

Europa slightly nodded her head in agreement.

Wang Reiji can't help but feel proud of her daughter. Europa wasn't just a smart kid, she was obedient too. Unconsciously, Wang Reiji started smiling warmly, bringing much delight to the owner of a pair of Phoenix eyes staring at her from a distance.
