58 The Hideou (2/2)

The two guys who were both eager to start a fight earlier started to calm down.

”We are about to do it last night, but I changed my mind when I saw who her sister was.” Kim Yang said as he opened his phone and browsed through the gallery.

”What about her sister?” The man with eyeglasses asked, his eyes beaming with curiosity.

Kim Yang did not give him an answer but rather showed a picture in his phone.

The shock that registered on their faces multiplied when they saw the picture of Liu Shenbi and her sister.

”F*ck! Huang Xur is her sister? That was a close call.”

”I think we went overboard this time. Good thing lady luck still smiles at us.”

The four guys suddenly became quiet. Their game of bets almost put them and their family in danger. At the moment, the Huang family is an influential force in Beijing given the fact that CEO Huang is favored by the general secretary. According to rumors, Huang Ming Si once saved the general secretary making the latter indebted to the CEO.

”Looks like we learned something new. We should do background check on our next plaything.” The guy with eyeglasses murmured but the tall guy was able to hear him.

”That's a good idea. Now, let's just forget about yesterday's bet.” The tall guy suggested as he sat himself down on the couch.

”Aside from the Huangs, can you think of other families that are more powerful and influential than ours?” Yugo asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

”I don't think so. I guess aside from the Huangs, noone else is much powerful than our families combined.” Kim Yang declared, seemingly confident with his answer.

Silence again fell to the group when they saw an unfamiliar guy who just walked in the cafe. The guy was pretty tall, aside from his height he was also good looking and there's an intimidating aura around him. Who could this newcomer be?

As soon as the newcomer disappeared from their sight, Yugo, the muscular guy picked up the menu on the table and blurted out a suggestion.

”Looks like we found ourselves a new plaything. How about we make a bet on who among us will be the first to punch that guy's face?

The other guys need not answer the question. The smug look on their face already confirmed their reaction.
