Chapter 89: Plan (2/2)
He immediately glanced at the ice mirror at his back. But unfortunately, it was the only exception that did not crumble.
”Grrr, clever girl...” the demon gnashed his sharp teeth while coldly staring at Ice.
When all the ice crystal inside the room crumbled, Yman and Almina dashed towards the demon on the altar.
Seeing it, the demon was puzzled, ”Are these humans really coming for their deaths? Hehe!” The demon giggled. Looks like these two humans were so idiotic to charge at him. He even thought that humans were capable of logical thinking, but looks like, except for that ice girl, the rest were —mindless!
”Guehehehehehe!”
The demon broke into impish glee.
Now that the crystal ice and stalactites had finally disappeared. He could finally escape from this predicament. And not just that, he could also take his revenge towards that girl!
A moment later, the demon rushed toward the two humans who dashed towards him.
”Ehehehehe, how courteous for you to come at me on your own devices!” The demons shouted.
He could not use a magic attack as long as that human boy was present. So he needed to kill him first using his bare strength.
Thinking about killing that human boy through bare strength, he wanted to puke. Although in the Demon sect the Demon of Possession was the lowest rank family, their ability could defeat those of the top family.
The Demon Ultima glared at the two humans who leaped rapidly towards him.
Just a second had passed, they were already in front of each other.
The demon Ultima immediately brandished his claw towards the most bothersome insect!
With a smirk on his mouth, his claw tore the air and brandished downright in haste!
Shing!
Yet the smirk froze when he didn't feel any flesh-tearing on his claws.
The two humans suddenly disappeared from his front!
But at the corner of his eyes, he noticed them appeared at his back, while their fingers entangled at each other.
Actually, they were using Rapid Leap consecutively while dragging each other.
They sneered at him. The demon's face twitched and said, ”Do you think you can fool me? Guehehehe!” His laugh reverberated inside the room.
He summoned more energy, the dark red energy burst out from his body.
The demon noticed the two humans stopped on their feet at a mere hand-reach away from him.
His mouth broke into a toothy grin. It seemed like the disparity in level from them was still proven right!
His claws fast approaching the human boy.
No matter what! He must finish this one first!
”Guehehe!” He laughed.
Then,
Swoosh, swoosh!
”Ugh!”
He suddenly paused when he felt piercing pains on his back.
The demon staggered a little then glanced at his stomach. He saw two arrowheads jutting out on it.
His eyes turned cold. Then glanced at his back just to see that girl who uses a bow aiming at him.
Bloodshot eyes were shot at her.
”Humaaaaans!” The Demon Ultima shouted.
Swoosh, swoosh, shoosh!
Yet what greeted him was three consecutive shots.
The demon tried to evade by stepping back. But because of anger, he forgot who was behind him.
Shing!
”Ugh!”
He suddenly felt another piercing pain.
He slowly darted his eyes down and saw a tip of the sword pierced on it. Not only that, but he also felt a chill from this sword.
He turned his head to look back, and there he saw a long black hair girl holding a sword that exudes a freezing aura, while her left hand was dragging the despicable human boy. He was on the floor while his back was facing the ceiling.
His eyes were half crying while saying, ”A-Almina... you forgot to release my h-hand...” the demon did not know what he meant.
Actually, Yman and Almina should attack together. But for some reason, her hand did not release his. Since she was faster than him, Yman lost the momentum and was dragged by her.
”Eh?” Almina was flustered.
