Chapter 76：Puzzled and surprised (2/2)

If not because of his quicker reaction time, he was particular that his head would already fly away by now. Though, because of the sudden attack, he lost his balance and fell on the grounds.

The ambusher thought that his back would hit on the tree branch as he fell; however, he concisely flipped his body, and his foot landed on it.

He glanced in front of him and saw an exquisite lady. His mouth extended into a grin.

”Hehe, what a stroke of luck.” He mumbled.

Almina stood at the opposite tree from the enemy, wearing a cold face and disgust expression towards the lascivious smile of the enemy.

Without wasting time, she sent flame slashed using her elemental swords.

The leader of the enemy extended its hand in front of him and created a barrier.

The flaming slash hit the barrier and exploded

”Hehe, what a sweet girl. I like it!” The leader shouted.

After hearing his ecstatic voice, without waiting for the smokes to dissipate, Almina rapidly retreated.

”This person was at a high level!' She thought. Then she noticed other enemies swirling up above the trees and rode on a bird.

”Boss?!” His comrades called out. ”What a beauty!” He exclaimed after noticing Almina. Soon he jumped off of the bird and landed beside his boss.

Jun glanced behind and saw the enemy confronted by a beautiful girl. The enemy's leader rushed towards the retreating figure of the girl. In just an instant, he already caught up behind her.

The enemy extended his hand to grab on the girl's back with a wicked smile.

Jun grimaced.

But his grasp only caught an empty air when the girl suddenly dove and rotated her body to 180 degrees while horizontally brandishing her flaming sword.

The leader was able to backstep and evaded Almina's sudden attack.

”Come at us, baby!” From above her, the other enemy leaped in the air and tried to reach her while smiling like a maniac.

She instantly kicked the ground and backstepped. However, Almina's foot tripped on a stone and lost her balance. The enemy broke into a toothy grin, seeing her about to fall.

His hand came closer to her.

Yet,

”Ugh!” He felt an impact from the side of his face. His face twitched in pain; he was sent and bumped on the three.

A shield was thrown onto him by Kesha.

”Almina!”

”Thank you, Kesha,” she said her thanks without glancing at her, she hastily took her ground and readied herself, because the enemy's leader was rushing towards her again; he looked like a hungry beast.

Jun shook his head towards Sierra, who wanted to help. They barely can move, and their resonance had long since been canceled.

What they needed to do now was to reach the hospital and ask for backups for those girls.

Jun and Sierra turned their back and continued flying towards the hospital.

”Kesha, run!” Almina shouted after seeing the other person rushed towards her.

However, Kesha was not the speed type magician.

”Come to me, darling, hahaha!” He laughed and jumped above her while spreading his hand.

Kesha felt a chill, seeing him.

On the other hand,

Ting, ting, ting!

”Hey, babe, let's enjoy ourselves,” The leader teased her while raining sword attacks at Almina.

Almina tried to parry his attacks, but the enemy's level was twice higher than hers. Even if she used some of her advanced abilities, it was still not enough.

She used her Rapid Leap to distance herself, but the enemy still managed to catch up on her with his speed alone.

He was never even using his full strength yet.

A moment later, Almina finds herself in the same situation as Kesha. The enemy in front of her was raising his sword overhead while saying, ”Hehe, let's see what is inside that dress,” the leader said, licking his lips.

Not far from her, the enemy who went after Kesha was about to grab her.

Then,

”Gotcha! Hehe,” the enemy tightly hugged as he sent kisses. But suddenly, he felt weird, why does this beauty rough and solid? Not the expected smooth skin. He opened his eyes just to see he was hugging a tree trunk.

”What the heck!” He shouted in his mind.

Almina's face grimaced at the blade of the sword brandished rapidly from above towards her.

She subconsciously closed her eyes and thought, ”Am I going to die here? So, those many years of training were just for naught? After all these years, I'm still that weak girl from before. Afraid of the dark, I wanted to see him. I wanted that smile who woke me up from that time. Yman!”

She unconsciously shouted his name.

In the next second,

She heard a slashing sound, but she didn't feel any pain.

Almina slowly opened his eyes, just to see the enemy lost its hand. And seemingly at the back of that enemy was that person. The mysterious black magician who fought to these high-level enemies in the monitor.

Inside the hood, under those black glasses, Almina could see-through his eyes were staring at her puzzled and surprised.
