Chapter 73：Mysterious person in black (2/2)

His eyes glinted and a wicked smile happened on his face. How come he just let those who tried to hurt his sister let off without paying a price.

Yman jumped off of the water tank and free-falling off the building while tucking his hands in the jacket's pockets.

20 meters above the ground before landing, a moment later, his silhouette dashed forward towards the direction of those bird riders.

He was jumping rapidly in the air just like when he did it on the surface. Sometimes he landed in the building and sometimes just rushed in the air.

Jun and the 2 people in the enemy side were dumbfounded as they stared at the individual in front of them.

Yman was surprised too after hearing his voice. It sounded like a mixture of his and Sistela's voice. However, it sounded cold and computerized.

He noticed the three people just staring at him. Two of them were the enemy who laughed at him a while ago while the other one was — he believed he was a magician from the academy.

Yman also noticed an unconscious girl tied well on the bird's back. Yet he didn't mind it.

The three were dumbfounded at his sudden appearance.

At first, they thought it was some kind of monster. But on second look, he was a person in disguise.

He was even wearing a weird mask. His face was well-covered: with hood, sunglasses, and a mask with the designs of two blue oval-shapes forming like eyes.

What's eerier about him was the black smoke he was exuding from his feet and hand.

The most mysterious part was how he managed to climb on this height. When Jun and the two people on the enemy side glanced around them, they noticed that they were 50 meters above the ground and the nearest building from them was 35-40 meters away. Summing it up, that currently they were flying at a speed not lower than 90 mph.

So how come this person managed to climb here? The three were in bewilderment.

After a moment of silence, ”This shi....t!” One of the people in dark blue cloths managed to spat the words.

But it seemed to be a signal when the other one shouted, ”Bean Cutter, save the boss!” After a scream, his hand was enveloped by fire and shot it slightly above him without a warning to where the mysterious person in black was currently standing.

”Damn it!” Bean Cutter curses before hoisting the rope to maneuver the bird. The bird sped up its descend and chased after their boss who was currently falling.

On the other hand, Jun was staring with wide eyes when the other person in blue cloth shot a high-level Flame Attack.

He wanted to shout a warning to the mysterious person but he was too late.

These guys who hunted them had fast incantation ability. They could easily summon mana like it was normal to them.

The blazing fire that burns like the sun, it travels in an instance and shot to the mysterious person.

Jun countenance turned bitter. He felt dismayed that he didn't warn that person beforehand.

Yet his eyes widened again. Weirdly enough, the flame failed to hit the target!

”Eh? What happened?” Jun was staring in puzzlement.

The person in a dark blue cloth called Lighter was staring at the mysterious person with the same question.

Both were wondering how he wasn't hit by that attack! Did he dodge it? Evaded it? No way! They didn't see him move on his feet. And he was still standing on its original position.

”Heh!” The mysterious person scoffed behind the masked.

Lighter broke into laughter, ”Gyahaha, don't get cocky! I will kill you!” He released the rope and stood also on top of the bird just like the mysterious person in black.

Now both of his hands were enveloped by flame. This time he will make sure to turn this cocky person into a crisp!

Yet the mysterious person was standing still on top of the bird without doing anything. Perhaps he was waiting for the enemy to fire again.

He only lifted slightly his hand that was exuding with black smoke. And doubly stayed it at above waist level. Aside from it, nothing else seems weird.

No one knew of what face he was making because of the disguise he was wearing.

”NOW DIE!!” Lighter shouted once again.

Then he sent successive shots of flames.

Then again, none of his flames were able to land a hit to the target.

”Hehe.” Yman finally grinned behind his mask.

”What the fuck is that?!” Inside the auditorium where the open forum was being held. One man screamed in puzzlement.

Together with him were the other trainees who were present in the open forum at the moment.

The one who shouted was one of Kiko's friends, Marco. Beside him, Kiko and the others also were staring at the large monitor in the auditorium with their wide eyes.

Currently, most of the trainees were present inside. Maybe only the infamous person was currently absent in this open forum.

Lighter stared wide eyes under the hood. He could not believe it, 'How in the hell that guy is still standing and breathing like nothing happened?!' His fury of attacks didn't toast or even graze him?

Lighter was stunned and thought to himself, 'How is that possible?'

Jun on the other hand had already turned white while thinking, 'What kind of curse is this?'

Actually, it was one of the abilities of his Black Mana, which enables him to weaken the senses of the enemy and create some illusions.

While the ability he used to defeat the Noble Rat was a kind of ability that enables him to copy the Noble Rat's abilities and used it for himself like the Air-Dance.

The black smoke he was exuding was not just an ordinary mana. They enter the enemy's body and modify their DatS(Soul Data). Finding possible weaknesses or any possible data that might be helpful to him.

But no one knows about it except Yman himself.
