Yman blinked his eyes. Wondering why this girl was so mean to him.

Perhaps, he did something bad to her without him knowing, or she really was just like this, or maybe he was really that bad from other people's perspective? That even someone he just met would dislike him? Frankly speaking, he also had something he dislikes.

”Such coincidence, I was also thinking that...a weak soldier who is not afraid to fight is better than a strong soldier who refused to fight.” After saying this he left her standing alone. He doesn't want more unnecessary hate. It's up to her how she would be going to comprehend what he just said. What was more important for now was to kill the monster in front of them.

Because if they could not kill this monster, the group would be forced to find another route. And the soldiers from empire said that the other route would take them another 2 days before they arrived at the academy.

On the other hand, Mai was using hit and run tactics. Before the spear-like leg of the monster could counter her she already retreated at a safe distance from the monster attack.

Bob and Chloe were waiting for the signal of Yman if when they would use their ability. Right now, they were using normal attacks to damage the monster even for little. Chloe was using a magical pistol with magical bullets. The damage was based on the user's magical strength and mana capacity.

And these type of weapons cost lots of gold points. They were expensive. The materials used to make it was from the monsters body parts.

Yman was checking the battle from the distance. He could not go near them. He tried throwing rocks, but he stopped doing after realizing that he had zero damage no matter how strong his throw.

The monster's health points were slowly decreasing as the battle progressed. Yman noted that every time the Mustang Spider lost 10% of its health points, it changes its attack pattern.

At the start of the battle, it was using its leg only. Then after its HP reached 90% its started randomly firing its web from his mouth and butt. Its battle pattern keeps changing as its health points steadily decreasing. This was one of the reasons why its hard to deal with this type of monster.

Yman told them about this discovery of him. He needed to warn his teammates for the sudden changes in the monster attack pattern.
