Amy rambled on endlessly. Finally, Taylor stopped her. ”Amy, have you and Louis eaten yet?” she asked.

If Amy continued to talk like this, her voice would be hoarse tomorrow.

”Uh. I forgot to,” Amy answered.

Feeling embarrassed, Amy scratched the back of her head and stuck out her tongue. ”Mom, I was too busy playing with the animals, so we haven't eaten yet!”

After saying that, she looked at Taylor plaintively.

Taylor was amused by her daughter's cute behavior. She chuckled and said, ”Well, let's all go and eat something!”

”Yeah! I knew you were the best mommy ever. I love you the most!” Amy shouted happily. It seemed that she was ravenous with hunger after her day at the zoo.

But Louis pretended not to agree. He asked jealously, ”Little Amy, do you mean that I am not good enough? Does little Amy no longer like me?”

”No, No. I like you very much, but Mom is just more important to me, so I like Mom the best,” Amy replied with a winsome smile. Amy was now grinning like a mischievous little elf.

Louis accompanied the two of them to a relatively remote restaurant.

The owner of the restaurant stepped up to them as soon as he saw them. ”Louis, I haven't seen you in here for a long time!

Are you too busy to make time to eat?” he chided. ”Yes, but you see, I came here as soon as I was free today,” Louis consoled the owner of the restaurant.

The two men chatted for a while before the boss noticed Taylor and Amy. ”This must be your wife and daughter, right? They are absolutely beautiful!”

The boss had clearly taken a fancy to Louis and said, ”No wonder you always hide them. It appears that you don't want others to see them! Am I right?”
