As always, Darren was not a good man. She had simply given him a means to threaten Jacob by risking her life.

She looked at Jacob with her eyes dow

time to calm down and to think carefully about the future of their relationship.

”Okay.” He still maintained an air of calm.

Everything seemed to be going well, except where Darren was concerned.

After Jacob left, Darren immediately instructed his men to initiate the share transfer, because he worried that something unexpected would happen to interfere with his business again.

But his subordinate reported that the share transfer agreement was a fake, so he could not legally transfer his shares.

It was a fake?!

How was that even possible?

Darren lost his temper. In a blind rage, he raked his arms over the desk, sweeping all the documents to the floor, and then he broke several expensive vases one after another.

The person who had reported the matter to him was terrified by this sight. His legs couldn't help but tremble. The man was afraid that Darren would next vent his anger on him.

Darren thought about it carefully and remembered that it was Dina and Nora who had gone to get the share transfer agreement.

Hence, there were only two possibilities. One was that the share transfer agreement had been swapped for a fake before Dina and Nora had collected the agreement for him. But the likelihood of this was extremely small. Dina and Nora wouldn't have been stupid enough to mistake the fake share transfer agreement for the real thing.

In consideration of this, Darren realized that there was only one possibility: Dina and Nora had fooled him with a fake share transfer agreement!

”Dina, Nora, how dare you!” Darren clenched his teeth, eager to kill them at once.
