It might have been nothing but a funny story for some people, but for the Shen family and Xandria, this was a fatal blow. Cherish didn't read everything carefully, but as she browsed the article, she had a terrible feeling in her stomach that told her that more bad news was yet to come.

The gist was that Xandria had tried to seduce Dina's boyfriend, Perrin, in order to sabotage Dina's audition.

”What the hell is this?” Cherish exclaimed.

She clicked the audio recording that came with the article. To her shock, she found out that this was a recording of the conversation she had had with her brother the night prior. However, someone had edited the file to make it sound like they had had a different conversation altogether.

The audio clip began with Cherish saying, ”Brother, are you really going to get together with Xandria? But what about Dina?”

Perrin seemed to say, ”Well, I don't know. I have no choice. I'm deeply in love with Xandria now. It's her dream to become famous, so I'm going to help her get the role.”

”But...”

”No buts. Dina and I got together when she was very young, and neither of us was sensible. Now, since Xandria has slept with me, I have to be responsible for her.”

”Brother...”

When the recording finished playing, Cherish was stunned. She raised her head to look at Perrin and said, ”Brother, that's not what we talked about!”
