Michelle's disdainful response suggested a lack of belief in Ray's words. However, she gave up struggling because it wasn't doing her any good.

”If you really hate me that much, I will find a quiet place for you so that no one can find you. You can just stay there if you like or you can leave after you deliver the baby. I will raise the kid on my own if I have to, but I won't force you to stay.”

Emily had a very outgoing personality and her love for adventures was no secret. Her personality had changed drastically when Jacob had broken her heart, but things were finally starting to get back on track. She was slowly turning back to the Emily she had once used to be. She was already smiling more often than she had used to, which meant that she was finally healing.

”That's right!” Emily nodded, and she stretched out her hand to poke Jacob's face. She titled her head to one side and continued with a big smile on her lips, ”But I had a great time here.”

After everything that had happened, Emily was finally with the man who loved her and their children the most. Her enemies were long gone and her life couldn't be more perfect than it already was.

Emily was finally living the perfect life.

”I love you!”

As he let her poke his face, Jacob raised his head and stared at her smiling face, which to him was the most beautiful sight in the entire world. He had waited far too long to see this very smile on her face. After all, it had the ability to cure all of his troubles.

Raising an eyebrow, Jacob cracked a big smile from the bottom of his heart. When he spoke, his voice oozed with love and affection.

”That will be your pleasure!” Emily felt amused by his words and she raised an eyebrow, giving Jacob a triumphant smile while she waited for his response.

”I know!” Jacob dusted off his trousers as he stood up on his feet. He was also amused by Emily's words, and he gently patted her head before giving her a kiss. ”Let's go home, my love!”
