Chapter 859 Its Not Like That (1/2)

Nora patiently waited at the gate of the hospital in order to make everyone notice and feel sympathetic towards her. Unfortunately, Rita was having none of it today.

After a while, Nora was confronted by a group of zealous guards who were looking to chase her away.

”Hey! What do you think you are doing? Let go of me! Do you know who I am?”

Nora tried to struggle, but the thought of being outnumbered by a group of tall and strong men didn't sit well with her.

”Mrs. Mo, I'm guessing you still remember me, right? Please do not come here to bother Mr. Xu and his family anymore.”

Sam walked over to Nora and cast a quick glance at her belly.

According to his investigation, Nora was indeed pregnant but it was not yet clear whether the father of the baby was David or someone else.

More importantly, David did have gone to see Nora that day.

”You work for Jacob, don't you?” Nora had faint memory of Sam as he was Jacob's most trusted subordinate. On most occasions, Sam would be the one following Jacob's orders and representing him in his absence.

'So, Jacob has decided to involve himself now?' Nora wondered.

At the thought of Jacob, who had quite a reputation for being merciless, Nora couldn't help feeling intimidated and alarmed. ”What on earth are you going to do to me?”

'Jacob is not as nice or kind as he looks on the surface. If he is aware that I have been stirring up trouble for both Rita and Emily, he will surely retaliate against me on their behalf.' Nora considered carefully.

”Mrs. Mo, I think I have made myself clear enough. Please do not bother Mr. Xu or anyone in his family anymore,” Sam repeated. Nora's body language, however, gave Sam a different indication, and he knitted his brows.

Suddenly, Nora started to scream at the top of her lungs. ”I am not trying to bother David! I am just waiting for him! I am waiting for David to wake up and see me!”

Sam's face darkened as soon as Nora's lunatic behavior started to draw people's attention.

”Mrs. Mo!”
