Chapter 28 Years Of Stalking (2/2)

Chuckling softly at the girl's expression, Tobias leaned into his chair.

”Don't worry, I already planned on releasing a few unbeneficial employees,” He assured.

To be honest, that's not what Mimi was shocked about. If anything she didn't give a damn if he were to fire someone for her.

Sure that was shameless of her to say, however, growing up disowned she was forced to fight for herself. If she had to go through a few measly employees losing their jobs so be it.

”Happy to start working for you Boss!” Mimi extended her hand out towards the young man.

”En,” Tobias said while shaking her hand, his dark eyes trained in her.

From that day forward both soon weaved a change in both of their futures.

....

After talking a bit, Mimi's mood brightened. Which of course she vividly showed on her face.

”Would you like to order something to eat or drink? The food here is fresh, and the beverages are one of my favorites.”

”What do you recommend?” Tobias asks unaware of the soft tone in his voice, as he was amused by the change of conversation.

”Hmm,” Mimi taps her chin in deep thought.

Observing how the girl responded to his question so seriously, a brief smile spread across his lips.

”I would have to say the crepes!” Mimi beamed. ”They're just the right crispiness and softness!”

Mimi's mouth begins to water at the thought of a chocolate crepe with powdered sugar and whipped cream.

From the beginning, Tobias examined the girl's change in expressions from a business face, to conflict, and to downright daydreaming.

The girl before him was quite an interesting one. While Mimi was lost in thought she didn't notice the mans cold eyes soften slightly.

Finally, done with her daydreaming Mimi stares at the sightly man before her.

”Ah...right. You don't have to order anything. They're solely recommendations,” Mimi coughed lightly.

She had done research on the man beforehand. Who knew, not merely was the man viewed in various columns on businessmen, but also women's magazines.

He was apparently listed as the top hottest men in the nation, including a list of his likes and dislikes.

One dislike being sweets.

What surprised Mimi the most after reading the article was how the journalist even found out his likes and dislikes.

Years of stalking?

Mimi knew from her previous encounter with the man- she taunted him in eating the meat buns she bought, he was a specific eater.

However, even if she wanted to forcefully feed the man a sweet, she doubts he would consume it.

Tobias: ”I'll order it.”

Mimi: ”...”

Yup. She was persuaded. Amnesia.
