”Um... this is a dodecahedron not an orb.”
”I'm not too surprised, this orb seems to change shape every so often to keep me from finding out its weak points and escaping.”
Van scratched his head and shrugged his shoulders in acceptance.
”So do you have any Martial Skills or cultivation techniques for me?”
Van started to punch empty air for emphasis.
”Do I look like a benevolent person to you?”
Yu Lin spread his arms and looked at Van apprehensively.
”Yes?”
Van replied hopefully.
Yu Lin facepalmed and let out a long sigh.
”This is going to be a long day. You are lucky that you seem promising and I have chosen you so that you might help me escape and get revenge on those that have wronged me.”
Yu Lin gave a proud look.
”First, you will allow my Divine sense to inspect your body.”
Van shrugged his shoulders. Why not? He had nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
Yu Lin nodded in approval, a decisive assistant would be needed.
He searched through Van's body to find an extremely solidified foundation.
”This is the most solid foundation I have ever seen! You could jump all the way to the 10th Stage of Dantian Formation and still be solid!”
Van looked at him surprised.
”I've been trying my best to break through to the next stages and I thought it was just my cultivation was slow! I have Grade 1 Meridians.”
At these words, Yu Lin searched through Van's body again. He had a pleasantly surprised look.
”What is it?!!”
Van looked at Yu Lin, his face beaming with excitement and anticipation.
”You have a Treasure Body! It means that you will need to consume treasures to level up. I'm surprised you made it to the 2nd Stage of Body Fortification!”
”Isn't that a bad thing?”
Van asked quizzically.
”Although it will take a lot of resources, your body will be a lot stronger than any others at your cultivation. You will be able to jump many stages than other geniuses!”
Yu Lin looked ecstatic as he described the benefits of Van's body to Van.
”I have such an amazing body! See that Sanji?! There's something I can beat you at! Sanji?”
”I forgot to tell you. Your soul is in here. Your beast friend can't see me right now because we are inside of the orb.”
”Oh... That was awkward.”
