Chapter 3 (1/2)
Crack!
Immediately after opening the door, Chu Han chopped with the ax without looking!
Puff!
The ax got stuck in the head of a zombie. The distance of the zombie’s pale pupils and the chapped skin was only ten centimeter from Chu Han. The blood and even pieces of the brain splashed his face and there was the unique rotten smell of a zombie.
The head of the zombie was destroyed and it was dead.
With his acc.u.mulated experience, he knew that there was a zombie one meter from the door.
Chu Han fiercely wiped his face and pulled out the ax with a small gasp. The dead zombie fell down, surrounding it with b.l.o.o.d.y flesh and brain. The appearance was disgusting, dying the white brick dark red.
Chu Han did not recognize the zombie but he would not be mercy even if he knew it.
Even so, his body was so weak. The weight of the ax was lighter by one-tenth of the military ones he used in his previous incarnation, yet, he had to hold it in both hands, gasping for breath as he did so.
There had been only one zombie near the door but the noise attracted other zombies in the corridor. Each zombie listened to the noise and they dragged their stiff bodies. They were covered with rotten meat and blood. Their faces were pale and their white eyes had no pupils. All of them made threatening gestures, heading to Chu Han.
Ouch--
Howl--
There were more than ten zombies that came from visual inspection. They made growlings of all kinds which sounded deadly evil. The condition in the dim corridor was extremely horrifying.
The rebirthed Chu Han had no super-strong body as with his previous incarnation. Now, he was too weak to deal with dozens of zombies at one time. Actually, he would be at a loss on what to do if he was besieged by three or five zombies.
One could be infected once bitten by a zombie.
Not to mention that there were a dozen of zombies, hungrily mad akin to beasts that had been hungry for days. They rushed to Chu Han madly when they smelled the fresh flesh coming from him. The sharp fingernails were stretched out with dripping blood.
They wanted to gnaw on the flesh of Chu Han and take out his internal organs for a good meal!
Chu Han stayed at the door frame. These zombies had no mind, but they jostled in a swarm. The area had been a dead end so Chu Han could not fight with a dozen of zombies at once but taking them down one by one might be possible. Now the danger only came from one direction so he could wield the ax freely as he was behind the line marking the entrance.
It was the most basic princ.i.p.al of surviving during eschatology, making use of all elements to stay alive.
Since his energy was insufficient, Chu Han rotated the ax and he changed to hacking with the ax’s blunt side. It could be dangerous once the head was stuck too deep in the head to pull out.
Ouch--
A zombie had been in front of him.
Chu Han wielded the ax cruelly with a savage expression!
Puff! The zombie’s eyes had been crushed and there was dark mutated pyemia flowing from the blood vessel. The brains splattered to Chu Han.
Two zombies killed!
Come on!
Chu Han let the disgusting pyemia stick to his face, neck, even tongue, and nostril.
When the second zombie was dead, the third zombie pounced on Chu Han. It could not help opening the huge smelly mouth which ripped the skin until the ears. The gum with bits of human organ stuck to it was creaking. It seemed like it wanted to bite the neck of Chui Han.
Chu Han had no time to take care of his aching muscle and ragged breath. His arms raised and wielded the ax fiercely to crush the zombie’s teeth.
The heavy ax and the powerful force of Chu Han broke the zombie’s jawbone, flinging it away towards the adjacent wall. The torn tongue looked similar to a fat rotten loach.
