1 Chapter 1: (1/2)

I never thought of myself as a saint.

h.e.l.l.

Not even a savior or protector.

But when I stared down at the pit of blood and the dead wolf bellow me, the blood and skin coating my snout.

I knew at that moment...

I was a monster.

”WOOHOO! YEAH!” A loud scream pierced my silent thoughts as I stumbled away from the dead wolf that prayed for me not to kill, begging for mercy. All my bones and nerves ached with the need to escape, but my Luna is here.

My Luna.

My cold, dead eyes looked around the arena and noticed the a.s.sa.s.sins and rich old guys spurting out hots of laughter and screams of joy. Their happiness causing my stomach to drop and look away from the cheerful crowd.

The dead wolf merely being swept away with their s.a.d.i.s.tic grins as I continued to stare at the dead carca.s.s. The sight causing every moral of mine to twist in agony.

A zap of electricity ran through me while I flinched and noticed the few a.s.sa.s.sins, witches, coming towards me with an evil glint in their eyes. They're smart enough not to send the pathetic wolves or vampires in here.

I killed many a.s.sa.s.sins when we first came here.

Now they are wiser and it's harder to cause any kind of damage.

Another zap of electricity ran through me when I didn't move making me snarl at them. They shared a look while another round of cheers went around us.

The cheers and hollers telling me to kill them as well as I felt my wolf face twist in a wicked grin. This was something my fans and I could agree with.

Before the mages could realize my movements, I latched onto a nearby mage and twisted myself so when one of the other mages shot a blast of fire. It hit the man I was attached to.

A scream erupted from the mage I bite as I jumped at the mage trying to attack me. The screams of the crowd clouding my judgment and sickness when sinking down into the next victim.

It was as if I was at the candy store and my parents told me I could choose anything I wanted. Only they didn't know I wanted it all.

The mage I was only gave a sharp shriek in pain before it was drowned away with his swift and deadly death. I noticed that the last mage had run away with his d.i.c.k in between his legs.

The sight oddly pleasing and satisfying to me when I walked over to where he was escaping, the need to stalk my kill growing. My nails clicked against the cool floors once I left the arena, the cries of sadness since the killing was over but I knew I'd be back.

I always am.

The mage frantically tried for a few doors but all of them locked, he also tried throwing a few spells at me but I was quick enough to dodge each of them. He had no right to be scared and trying to escape me.

He knew what was coming.

And there would be no one to help him in his final few seconds.

I stalked down the hallway, my nails sounding like gunshots on the ground only frightening the a.s.sa.s.sin more. His movements becoming more and more frantic the closer I got.

I almost wished he'd gain some hope so I could slaughter it in a wave of despair.

It'd be sure a pleasure to watch it disappear from his eyes.

My movements were slow, but each one grew closer and closer to the man who was flinging himself on door after door. His cries and pleads only met with the silence of my footsteps.

I didn't care about sanity.

I care about this small victory.

A small victory that added with all my others.

Eventually, they'd add up into a win of the battle.

Eventually, my Luna will have the power to teleport out of the place with the child and her growing pup.

Eventually, I will lose my mind.

Eventually, this will all end.

”Please! Let me in! She's going to kill me!” The mage cried in fear, his dark brown eyes looking at me with pure terror but that terror was only met with more rage from me.

A low growl left my lips as I quicken my pace, tired of walking down the mysterious corridor and tired of hearing his pathetic attempts to save himself. At this point, he deserved to die, a slow and painful death.

Moon G.o.ddess.

Please forgive me.

I dove into the kill, an ear-piercing scream erupting from the mage as I clenched down more. The iron taste filling my mouth and giving me the satisfaction of killing another a.s.sa.s.sin in cold blood.

His merciful cries cutting off once I snapped his neck, immediately killing him. Not settling my need to draw out his death.

There was a slow clap behind me as I dropped the mage on the ground, his terrified face stuck on him even after death. The sight will forever be placed in my mind.

I turned around, seeing the a.s.sa.s.sin that was the reason we were here. His face morphed into an ecstatic smile when stronger mages surrounded him making me realize what I've done.

”Lovely sight to watch. You stalking your kill! It is wonderful to watch! Every day, you turn more and more into an a.s.sa.s.sin.” He clapped happily when I felt all the pleasure from before morphing into anger.

He sent those weak mages in there for me to murder...!

That b.a.s.t.a.r.d!

I snarled loudly, taking a step but the movement caused one of the mages, Wyn, to trap me in a cage of magic. Preventing me from taking another step.

Son of a b.i.t.c.h!

”Ah ah. Must you always want to kill us? I am just trying to show you the potential a person like you have, Nava.” The a.s.sa.s.sin purred making another snarl leave me. ”Bring her back to the cell. She has earned herself a present tonight hasn't she?” The a.s.sa.s.sin questions to Wyn when his hand remained outstretched out to me.
