Chapter 80 – A Certain Winter’s Day

Uu, just when I thought it was cold…

When I looked out the window, there was a silvery landscape as far as the eye can see.

Although snow hadn’t fallen since the New Year began, with half a month gone by, it seems like such a long time.

It was gratefully accepted when it snowed in December because of its novelty, but the happiness disappeared after it continued for a while.

Which reminds me, I have heard that in the cold regions of j.a.pan, in order for the water services to not get frozen, they only leave a small amount of water in it or something.

For even colder regions, they have things like devices which makes the water pipes unable to be frozen.

Shall I also leave a small amount from tonight?

For now, I’ll need to do something about the coldness of the room. If I had a thermometer, it would surely indicate the room temperature is below freezing point.

I operated the stove magic tool, and ignited the living room fireplace.

Ah, the stove magic tool, when it had began to turn cold, I had the magic tool dealer, who I purchased the freezer from, create it. Although it had been completed half a month ago, because it consumed a considerable amount of power, it’s still within the scope of improvement.

However, it’s fascinating how it’s able to start heating up immediately after operating. It’s called a stove, but it’s more like a fan heater, I suppose?

Right now it’s used as a filler until the fire in the fireplace gets going, but if the fuel consumption improves a little bit more, it may be better to use this as the main. It’s also great how it can be easily carried around.  It’s usable even in rooms without fireplaces ne.

Shall I suggest a kotatsu magic tool next time?

Without delay, Eru curled up in front of the stove magic tool.

And I too, until the room warms up, I hugged Eru and warmed up by the stove.

Burying my face in Eru’s fur, I enjoyed the warmth.
