Chapter 182: Pride of Being Killed (1/2)

Ed appeared in front of the cell where everyone was being held at. He only recognized three figures among them. Harry, the previous a class teacher, and the general. Three more people were in the cell but Ed had no idea who they were. They weren't the teachers of B and D class that he saw two years ago. 'Maybe those teachers joined Blood sect.' Ed assumed the worst case but relinquished those thoughts as he looked at the prisoners in front of him.

”Goburou, help be bind them.” Ed didn't know if his idea would work but he wanted to try it anyway. Seeing that they were being controlled by the collar, it would only be logical for him to remove it. Whether they get free or not would be clear afterward. Binding them was simply a precaution.

Goburou used the blood from his Hatsu to bind them while Ed used Telekinesis. He also used Telekinesis to remove the collars. At that moment, all of them screamed at the top of their lungs. It was a horrifying scream as if their soul was being twisted and tortured. Ed knew that something similar might happen. His Berserk skill affected his mind, so he knew how painful it was. Although, he felt that theirs might be worse.

'Good thing I used a dimension.' Ed thought to himself as he waited to see the results of what he did. Harry showed the first signs of consciousness as his eyes opened while looking at Ed and Goburou. He only muttered one word before falling back to the realm of dreams, 'Edward'.

”I guess this can be considered a success. Goburou, I'll return to Avalon to notify the others. Before I return, make them drink these.” Ed spoke to Goburou while he withdrew six potions from his Inventory. ”We'll leave the attack on the capital to my father and the others. We'll deal with whoever is hiding in here.” As soon as Ed finished his words, he disappeared.

Back in Avalon, Ed encountered everyone participating in operation 'Save the Scale' named by yours truly, Leonard. Eric, Griffin, Oliver, Edmund, Arthur, Leonard, Uther, Emilia, Ellie, and Alicia. Elizabeth and Uther's wife Igraine would stay behind in Avalon along with the other nine sect Elders. Of course, all of Ed's companions would join him in this operation.

”Okay everyone; it's time to take back Scale kingdom. The enemies are numerous and strong. Make sure not to hold back. Let's go!” As Ed spoke everyone's eyes changed. Not with fear or anything like that, but with determination and anticipation. All of them were cultivators that aimed to be the strongest. Of course, they would be excited to fight to prove themselves.

As Ed teleported everyone, Bard and Audun frowned. They couldn't help but blame themselves for not being able to help them. Ever since Ed told them they could be healed, they felt impatient. And now they couldn't help, so they were even more frustrated. Alas, they couldn't o anything about their current situation. They could only work harder when the time comes.

”What is goi-” The new king of Scale kingdom felt something happening inside the castle. Before he could make heads or tails of the situation, a group of people appeared in front of him in the throne room.

”Brat, I've come to take back my kingdom!” Uther's voice attracted the man's attention from within the whole group.

”So after almost dying at my hands, you come with reinforcements? Have you no pride, old man?” The man provoked Uther by his words, but the latter wasn't one to fall for such simple mind games. He looked at him calmly and laughed.

”Pride? As if you people know anything about that. Where was that pride when you murdered people indiscriminately to rule over the world?!”
