Chapter 29: The top of the world (2/2)

”System how come I got the space magic?” Ed was full of smiles but still wanted to know the origin of the drops.

[It's part of the Game interface. Depending on the luck of the host he can get certain drops from what he kills] Ed was happy at this new revelation.

Ed finally relaxed and sat down. Raikou came to his side and sat down as well. Ed summoned Suika and looked sad; her companions were full of wounds while she was perfectly fine.

”Don't worry Suika I'm certain you will get stronger and protect us in the future” Ed smiled and looked at Suika which made her feel a bit better.

Ed got some of the potions he made and drank them with Raikou. They instantly felt better as their wounds healed at a fast pace. 'Potions are handy after all!'

However before they could relax, a suffocating aura engulfed the entire area and they couldn't move at all. It took their full power just to look up. What they saw was an enormous black dragon. This time Ed didn't mistake the species. He tried to scan it but the results he got were frightening.

The power difference was just too enormous between them. Luckily for them, the dragon didn't even consider them worth its time and moved ahead. It looked at them one last time as if it was looking at ants in its way.

Ed couldn't relax until he could no longer see the dragon. He felt for the first time how terrifying the monsters in this world could be. He finally had a chance to witness what the top of this world was like.

Ed went inside the cave and set up camp in there. It was getting late so he slept after eating with Raikou and Suika. Tomorrow they should reach the Scale country if they use the whole day traveling.

Hello everyone hope you enjoy the chapter. I'll try to post a second one today in a couple of hours.

I went with space as the last element of the wyverns since it is considered as one in some classifications of elements (It was also cooler :x).
