TBoSP Chapter 5 - The snake's a bully
TL: The adjectives often used to describe Su Fei Yue is bossy and quick-tempered. In Chinese, we call those easily offended as 小气 (xiao qi). We can also describe this word as narrow-minded. 霸道 (ba dao) or bossy, on the other hand, is something like demanding, like how a higher up would order around their subordinates.
A melodious voice suddenly spoke up. Mu Tang Chun looked left and right to seek the origin of that voice. Not a single silhoutte can be seen. There is only her, and the snake alone within the vicinity. The only possible conclusion is...
T-The... The snake spoke!
Heavens, is this a dream? She'd rather believe in doomsday than the truth in front of her eyes. The snake spoke! This is ridiculous!
”You... You can speak? You actually spoke!”
Mu Tang Chun is too shocked by the truth in front of her that everything going on in the outside world goes unnoticed. She is so surprised, she forgot that the very same hateful, white snake is right in front of her, staring daggers back at her.
Looking at how terrified and confused she is, Su Fei Yue laughed loudly in his heart. In spite of that, he did not realise that this is a first that a woman has changed his mood considerably. He was not going to stop there. In order to make her give up, he moved his huge body close to her, leaning towards her. He glanced at her stupefied expression and said,
”Woman, do not forget what you've just said!”
”What did I say?”
Mu Tang Chun had her hands over her chest, desperately trying to calm her beating heart down. She wore a puzzled expression.
”You promised to provide food to me, now and forever. Since you're so sincere in apologizing to me, His Highness, I decided to stay for good!”
The huge snake shook his head dramatically. He finally did what he wished for; seeing the little woman changed her expression to a defeated one.
”You... You want to stay here?”
Heavens, this is too terrifying! Staying together in the same room with a huge snake? This is a death sentence! *sobs*
