”I'm giving you a chance to be in my good books but you didn't grab it! Sofony Mendez, I'm declaring total war against you!”

”Hah! I don't dare grab that opportunity, Miss Violent Goddess! I'm not that stupid to believe you! You want to kill me! It's obvious because from the beginning to the end, your attitude when you suggested the truce never has any sincerity in it! You also obviously tried to throw me to your men so that they can shoot me to death! Now, you blame me for retaliating? Don't forget it's you who started it all!” she icily stated after another shot.

Sofony saw Clarissa pulling up a gun too. Also, when the other fired at her, she has better marksmanship. The bullet nearly buried itself on her flesh. Only luck and reaction speed slightly higher than most normal people saved her from it. However, her heart became colder when she saw the metal door of the nearby room slowly being melted away until a hole as big as a man's fist was there.

Shocked, Sofony stared dumbfoundedly at Clarissa.

'I-if that hits me...' While imagining the pain and injury she'd get once it bore into her flesh, she couldn't stop herself trembling from fear.

The self-hypnotized her was still not so resistant to fear as to not get afraid of something that could kill her gruesomely.

But fortunately, as she had a goal established, the self-hypnosis toughened her mind to a certain degree. Also, her survival instinct acted up.

She instinctively brought out another item from the system's inventory and applied it on herself. 'System, deduct all the points you want! Just take out all my bullets and rain it upon her without stop!'

'I'M BEGGING YOU, JUST DO IT!'

Sofony had already vanished from sight. Her sudden disappearance made Clarissa dumbfounded. Since the target could no longer be seen, she stopped pulling the trigger. Her mind started to wonder whether Sofony also teleported.

'She must have bought a one-time teleporting item from the shop! She's really a b*tch! To think she readily left her man behind!'

Clarissa continued looking around for several seconds. She tried to ask the system about Sofony's whereabouts. But as usual, due to the other AI system's masking, she gained no useful from the system. She could only angrily lower her gun and free a hand to punch the wall.

'My plan to farm hundreds of thousands of points failed! Damn it!'

'Ugh, my system, just why can't you tell me where she goes? Why are you so useless this past few days?'

'Just where the heck did she really go?'

'Wait, she's a newbie and the sentimental kind. Does she really have the heart to leave Gio Albarez behind?'

Suspicions began to sprout in her mind. However, her thoughts got interrupted when bullets just suddenly started raining from above!

When Clarissa finally realized that Sofony must have commanded her AI to do this, she cursed. ”Damn b*tch!!!” Then after the first two landed on her elbow and right thigh respectively, she hatefully spent her remaining points on another ten thousand points barrier.

By this time, Clarissa regretted spending almost all her points on that item which did not even help her injure that hateful kid. She was also taught a hard lesson once again! Her complacency did it all to her. Because she kept holding on to the fact that Sofony was only a new host, a naive one at that, she greatly underestimated her. She did not ever consider what would happen once Sofony decided to go all out against her to the point that she'd hypnotize herself just to gain the resolve to kill her!

Hate clouded Clarissa's reasoning. Her black heart blackened more at the thought of how two hosts seemingly ganged up on her today to make her so miserable. Though there was really no ganging up that happened, she still couldn't accept how two hosts beat her up one after another.

”Damn you, Sofony b*tch! I'll make you pay for this!!!' she angrily shouted.

Under the barrier assaulted by the neverending downpour of bullets, Clarissa made up her mind to take revenge against the girl first. She closed her eyes and cut off her connection to all of her first ability's seed, except one. She concentrated all her mind power to it and commanded it something that would surely make Sofony Mendez hate herself for life!

When she opened her eyes again, a hint of red could be seen on the rims. She looked completely crazy when she maliciously declared, ”You lowly whore! You think you already one-upped me, huh? After this, let me see if you can still laugh! You better thank me later for helping you eliminate one of your useless baggage! Sofony B*tch!!!”
