368 7.96 Undisputed Champions No More. (2/2)
”Nothing is left, Robin... Not one shot was fired from the Sorcerors and their blades were not even withdrawn from the scabbard,” she said again as she coughed out a few undigested fries.
”Yeah... We all saw the carnage, this is simply outrageous...!!! The undisputed champions from Leeds and York were wiped out within a few seconds the moment they entered the battlefield...!!!” I cried out and wondered how it would be if it happens to bands that we are acquainted with.
The rest of the adventurers shuddered at the sight of the carnage and soon inaudible whispers turned to harsh, suppressed talking that left some with hoarse voices afterwards. They too can't believe that the battle of 500 over armies ended just as it started.
”Speak your mind and stop talking like that. Firstly I don't quite hear you and secondly, it is even difficult to understand. It's better to speak up rather than speaking in that kind of manner.” I finally said and then one by one spoke up regards their innermost thoughts.
”Sir Robin, these seem to be the 3rd Generation demons that we have never seen. What happens when we meet them during our party raids?” asked a Monk whose job was to heal, chant, shout and knockback opponents with their knowledge.
”It is a rare chance you are going to meet these demons because these are renegades, the ones in party raids are controlled.”
”Do you have any strategic plans for overcoming these? At least if we could overcome this we may be able to overcome the others at higher levels.” asked a Mage who represents a supporting role in making those juggernauts works together with the druids and necromancer.
”We could make a battle plan to get rid of those scums and then we leave them be. I wondered how come the Sheriff is able to entice them with such a loot back in his castle as if he knew that no one would come back alive.” I explained as the consequences to battle these renegades are 300% riskier than going against even the top tier level demon in a party raid.
”Sir Robin, these renegades are staying close to us, do you think they could overrun us one-day?” asked a Paragon with a worried look since they had recently joined the band and had not seen much battles.
”I hope not. What interests them most was what's inside that mineshaft, there's a reason why they beefed up their defences so well and ensnares the other warriors, thinking that only the Imps were there.” I reassured them again and simply hope that what I had said is true without fact-finding.
If we were to face such nemesis in the future, everyone could be easily wiped out of their very existence. Now, there are more than 500 dismembered and disembowelled bodies strewn all over the plain fields and it would be a remembrance to a bitter battle where not even a shot rang out from the advancing armies.

It would take some time before they reach a decomposition state and break down into skeletons.
”We could bring them back from the dead. They would fight once again, get knocked down and fight once more. We can keep this going on for hours and if we're bored with it, we could march them off the fields and return to where they had come from.” the necromancer suggested since they have the summoning to do just that.
”I think we better keep out from this at this moment, its the Sheriff's calling so we would just let it be then. No one is to act on their own without our knowledge, is that clear?”
”Yes, Sir Robin... H O O A H H...”
