354 7.82 Beach Head Assault, Omaha Beach Style Of Battlefield. (2/2)
I looked at the captains and they all nodded.” All right, just as an observer and be at the most rear end. You may use your GoPro to capture the events and playback for the rest of your captains and lieutenants to follow through next time. There are 3 party raids in succession and it would be over within a window period of 45 mins for the battles.”
”Ready when you are, Robin, my friend...” Hugo replied as he adjusted his GoPro camera on both his helm and his body armour to capture the events that would happen very soon.
....
The first wave of Level 81 to 100 had brought us to a beach and we were on the opposite side doing a beachhead assault. We scanned the surroundings and found it way pockmarked and provide little cover.
The toll on both nature and humanity is unimaginable. It'll likely take decades before this beach will have recovered. It's clear bodies, explosion holes and gore have taken the place of trees, grass and plants.
We quickly changed strategies as waves if energy blasted through us. The Mages made the pinball zig-zag formation on the ground leading to a hill where a few fortified positions were held. Intermittent shouts of 'Shields Up' protected the allied forces as we took cover behind those icy walls as Archers and Amazonian Fighters let their Arrows loose as it spun in the air and targets the hidden enemies within the Fort.
Within 5 minutes, energy, frost and fire forms that were bombarding us had subsided. ”Damn...! This is like getting the Congressional Medal of Honor...! Lucky those Arrows have an auto-targeting system and works like a missile. It sure gives a new meaning to blind firing...!!!”
”FORWARD...” I shouted and went ahead some 20 to 30 paces before I shouted for ”WALLS...” and a set of juggernaut walls were being established. Necromancer and Druids raised the undead and the wild beasts as they attacked forward. ”CLONES...” I shouted as the swordsman and barbarians deployed their doppelganger ahead and struck at anything that is visible to them. ”FORWARD...”
These manoeuvres were repeated while 4 ranged armies stood slightly behind us and released an arrow every minute since they are unable to see their enemy from the distance.
We have a lot of warriors utilising the 'Shields Up' spells and were able to move forward and be impervious of assaults during our move.
We soon came to a clearing and we realised that the roles had been reversed as we are doing the assault while the demons are waiting to impede us at every chance. This is a cat and mouse game and in the end, we were quite holed in as Doppelganger, wild beasts, raised undead and Patriot middle Arrows dealt the most damage.
By 12 or so minutes, we had completed the Beach Head Assault after we had climbed over a 150 feet vertical cliff and stood on it as we watched dead demons sprawled in their bunkers, pull boxes, fortified towers, trenches and even on hollowed-out bunkers and all had barbed wires to hinder our advances.
The strewn 160 pieces of broken armour and weapon automatically deposited into my storage bins and the rest of the spoils went to those who had the last strike.
”What kind of party raid is this? This is a massacre and it's worse than my boss raid that I am stuck with...No way my band could survive without a Strategist like you and a fine, right little army of yours. My God... Its an open space and everyone was in plain sight for the enemies to shoot down.” Hugo remarked as he exited the portal and was shaking as he saw how the battle unfold.
”Robin, tell me... How do your archers and amazonian fighters unleash their Arrows toward the rear and it flew back forward and straight at the enemy!?!? I had walked the battleground and found none of the Arrows struck the ground and all seemed to be pierced on the bodies of those demons... ” asked Hugo in total amazement and I simply said its the magic from the Amazonian Fighters.
”Excuse me, fine, Amazonian Fighters, how do you make those Arrows fly in the opposite directions and then struck every single demon on the battlefields?” asked Hugo to one of the Amazonian Fighter that was fidgeting with her underwrite bra as she tried to adjust it without removing her Studded Leather body armour.
”Ungakwazi ukunginikeza lapha, kuyabukeka kakhulu.” the Amazonian Fighter said.
”M A G I C...” replied an Archer as a response to what gibberish the Amazonian Fighter had replied to Hugo, the leader of the Flaming Arrows.
