355 7.83 Unveiling My Level 13 With More Than 18,600 Points Per Sta (1/2)
The second and third battle was also being observed by Hugo as we advanced into nearly deserted ruins of a graveyard and the Assassin made a report of the whole situation before coming back to quickly form up the necessary formations as we advanced...
”Watch out...! Traps inbound...!” I shouted as we advanced slowly and took cover against the towering tombs and hollowed burial grounds as we watched skeleton soldiers, skeleton warriors, swords wielding, axes welding, shields and spears wielding skeleton emerges from crypts.
These were easily brought down by the Assassins and ranged attacks from the Archers, Amazonian Fighters, Mages, Druids and Necromancer as the rest of the Swordsman and Barbarians just hacked and slashed their way through.
It was almost a walk in the park when suddenly hordes of these skeletons came up from the rear and it made Hugo nearly jumped out of his skins as he was not anticipating a rear defensive and offensive force from the skeletons.
”SHIELDS UP AND FALL BACK” I shouted while a few choruses within earshot that enabled everyone to move 30% faster to protect the rear end and reversed the whole formation again.
We had cleared the rear and settled back and wondered what we had been given a reverse role again and this time we covered our rear tracks with ice spikes and ice walls from the Mages, Druids and Necromancer.
”Assassins, KITE....” I commanded and they rushed forward and feigned injury as they walked the flanks and brought those enemies forth and initiated the attacks when they had kited the enemies far from their safety zones.
”SHADOW CLONES...” I shouted and several Doppelganger moved up and slashed the emerging enemies from their crypts. A few exploding chests sounded and the Doppelganger vanished into the air and another half dozen were deployed.
It was a cat and mouse game and by 15 minutes, the place was littered with bones and all their weapons and Armor was deposited into my storage bin when suddenly their Skeleton King emerges from underground with the elemental skeletal forces that were hiding underneath our feet.
That's where Hell broke loose with barrages of Arrows, frostbite, hailstorm, death from above, axes slashes, swords strikes and other spells and strike attacks were deployed and within 3 minutes everything was subdued.
There were some injuries to the adventurers and that only amounted to bumps, scrapes, scratches and other superficial wounds. They were taken aback and surprised at the last attack that was totally unanticipated.
Fortunately, with their new skills, they were able to gain an upper hand after being numb for at least 10 seconds due to the 'Fear Factor' that the Skeleton King had cast when he rose from the ground.
”Oh hell... We were surrounded a minute ago and you guys took care of it like nobody's business. These are Level 81 to 100 and there 160 odd of them against your army of 80...!!” said Hugo as he dusted himself off when he fell into one of the empty graveyards the moment the earth shook and everyone was almost swept off their own feet and stumbled.
After we had exited from the teleportal, we tend to our injuries as some paramedics were scrambled with their first aid kits and came to check on us. They made sure we were ready to battle the last party raid and made a report for the Chief Medical Officer that all the men are fit for combat.
The Chief Medical Officer gave me a report for the health and wellbeing of all the 80 adventurers and rode off in his ambulance back to the General hospital.
The rest of the adventurers broke out some MRE (meals ready to eat) and shared their biscuits baked beans and chocolate with the rest of their members and drank hot cranberry tea that the Elder had somehow brought along with her.
”Don't mind me... Just passing through to see how is my little cutie pie is doing... Hehehe.” the elder said as she passed a bottomless pot of cranberry tea around as everyone filled their mugs and rested before beginning the last assault.
”Robin, my friend. I'd like to take back my words since I've said that these party raids is not comparable to boss raids. At this level, it's almost like sending our men to the slaughterhouse and it's even harder than it seems. Flaming Arrows might not even last 10 minutes and we would expect heavy casualties.”
”Don't worry Boss Hugo... I don't take it to heart. Actually, we are here to Level up on our skills. Hang on I ask one of the adventurers here. Our young Mage, can you tell us your level and skills level for Juggernaut?” I casually asked one Mage that was lying on his sides and relaxing like it was a picnic for everyone.
