349 7.77 The Vagabonds To The Party (1/2)
The 80 adventurers had gone through 3 small party raids against demons level 51-60 and had gotten a total of 75 gold coins so far. They had decided that it is time to move up to another level where they had gone through 5 small party raids with demons from level 61-70 and were rewarded with 27 gold coins for each round.
After the 80 adventurers had gone through 8 small party raids, they had accumulated a total amount of 210 gold coins so far. ”We still have a long way to and we got 5 days at it. Why don't we take a break and then we continue?”
They all went to the tavern and sat down and occupied every single seat that's available and they can't help to be noticed by some battle-hardened adventurers and newcomers as well. A whole army wearing identical armour and coat of arms paints a rather magnificent view and they talked softly among each other and there was no demeanour of arrogance at all.
”Hello there, I've heard about you when I joined this adventure, you're from The Vagabonds, right? Would you mind me asking you a few questions?” a young adventurer in cloth armour and welding a common class sword asked.
”Sure, Young adventurer, what can we do to be of your assistance.” replied the sergeant swordsman.
”Would we be able to join you even when we are at level 1 right now? We know that you are of a much higher level than us but would there be a chance since we were all new to this adventurer things?”
”Right now we do not have any openings since we are the primary tier of the Band of Vagabonds. The decisions would be made later by our leader and captains since we are now in our lull period. Furthermore, if you'd join us later, it would be under a secondary tier.”
”Even at the lowest level, you still experience those points and level up since we would be grinding monsters or demons at a higher level than you should be dealing with. Worry not, just add us to your notifications and once there's an opening for fresh recruitment, you'd soon be notified and quickly join us.”
”We were the lucky few that managed to enter within a 10 minute window period and its limited slots available. As I've said, the decision lies from our leader and captains. It would be best for you to grind, gather spoils, sell them and also earn experience points as you go along.”
”Thank you so much for the information, I and my friends will keep in touch. We hope to be able to join you in the quest to wipe out these demons from the face of the earth. Good day and may we meet again sometime...”
With that the young adventurers turned and left, feeling a bit dejected but with a glimmering hope to join The Band of Vagabonds that had a name for themselves in helping the towns to clear the menacing demons from further harassment.
....
”So what would be going to do next? We are a bit hungry and tired after having 8 straight small party raids. It has given us some experience points and quite a handful of gold coins which we need to save up to get ourselves the tomes we require and not depending on our leader.” said an Archer.
”I'm going to dispose of these broken Armor and weapons that I had picked up and sell them to collect more cash from the NPCs....would we going for another 3 rounds before we head back?” suggested another Barbarian.
”Seems like a good idea, we grind at these party raid and head back to Camp Salvation to rest. We would set out again after breakfast and hit those higher-level demons for more cash flow.”
”Alright, as our Sir Robin always say, 'Let there be blood...!' H O O A H H...”
”H O O A H H...” choruses the 79 others as they finished up their ginseng ale and heads back to the bulletin board and register for another onslaught. Soon after 3 more rounds, they had collected another 81 gold coins, sold off their spoils and then headed back to Camp Salvation with not a single casualty or injuries.
