I explained to Hiko-sama that we would have to pass him the cash for the 4 machines that he is going to manufacture and then for the 110 STM that he would gradually produce with a group of 3 other men that would hit a production of 10-20 per month.

I also expected a turn aroind of 24 hours operations for the production. Once the rest of the beauty products hits an all time high, we would be expecting an 24 hours operational for the girls' side as well. Each 2 would be on an 8 hour shift with at least 6 more workers per shift.

In the end we would have 18 more ladies joining the workforce to prepare all the soaps, shampoos, Kurin and Feroa Kurina. Since the girls had done our laundry, we broke for lunch and after that I gathered the girls for a short meeting.

We told them the plan of making a 24 hours production and will break the girls up for the è shifts and they will choose who will take the 1st, 2nd and 2rd shift respectively and gave me their names. Then, I want them to go the the plebs District to look for girls their age who are not in school and were somewhat like their conditions before.

Mesen-san gets the general idea and told me once he had found the next 4 men, he would report here and present those men to me. Some time later, all the men that had gone to Shibata had returned. The ambassadors dismounted from their horses and tied them at the side of the path while the men returned the horses and wagon to their former boss. After 20 minutes the men returned and continued their duties.

The ambassadors passed us the contract for the lease of the locale and also the slip deposit from the treasury. They told us that the treasurer was surprised that the other day Miroku and Kami were asking about the treasury facilities and came back with a huge sum of gold coins they need several of the clerks to count and finalise.

I looked at the slip and was satisfied, but only wished that how we going to increase the productivity and output if there are only the two of us. I requested a receipt and full payment be paid upon delivery. He agreed and went back.

The new group of girls that they had met all came from the outermost District and they were either orphans or with single parents. These new girls were lucky because they need not suffer like the originally 6 girls that were brought in here but they had learnt how to make traps, hunt small animals and birds, use an arrow as well as a spear for fishing as well as prairie dogs.

When they learnt that they could work and help their families, they were all excited and seeing these girls meant no harm to them they approached and came to the innermost residential district.

I asked the 6 girls to make tea for the 18 and 2 adults and told them we need 6 each for 3 shift work, 7 am to 3 pm, 3pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am. The original 6 girls would be split into each shift and become their line leaders.

I explained the work and they understood. I told them that we are now in a new phase of production and would brief the line leaders first before the work can commence. I asked if any of them would like to start tonight on the 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am shift and they can start immediate today.

The new girls began to discuss and seeing them in an disorderly bunch, I had to seperate them between the younger and older ones. So we had 2 groups first.

I asked who are interested in working the 2nd shift and there were more hands that came up and I have no choice but to choose 3 young girls and 3 older girls to pair them up, next on the 3rd shift and a few hands shot up and I once again choose 3 young and 2 older girls to make up the 3rd shift. The balance would be on the 1st shift tomorrow.

I asked them if they knew how to read and write and none of them could reador write very well but able to recognise characters here and there. I then asked Eko, Izumi and Hanna which shift they would like to be in and they replied the 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.

I told them to note for me the names that I would make up for the shift roster. When the 2nd shift guards reported for duty, they saw each other and knew some of the girls. The guards showed a thumbs up to them and knew that the girls were there for a good reason.

I informed the girls on the 3rd shift to inform their parents or guardians that they will be working for Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha and to inform the parent and guardians of the 2nd shift that they would be returning home after 11 pm. The girls understood and told them that they are welcomed into this family and their wages will be paid 5 silvers every 7 days of work. The moment they heard they would be earning 5 silvers per week, it was like a normal adults salary like the guard 'uncle' they knew.

I told Hiko-sama that our manpower would soon reach 50 and he would be handling all their time sheet and payroll every month. I explain that this amount does not include the ones from the 3 towns. I looked at Hiko-sama who was frowning deeply and I laughed at him.
