42 2.19- Ka... Go... Me...!!! (1/2)
With all the attention and food that replenishes and nourishes my body; the fleshy and water-bearing fruits provide me with sufficient liquids that replaces my blood loss. Actually by using coconut water, one could use it as an IV drip to save a man's life. The liquid of the coconut has a lot of wonders and was one of the main ingredients to make ”Tuak”, the bamboo liquor from Stone Village.
I lifted the tablet in front of me and saw that the last person whom I dearly wanted to meet was Kagome and her blip showed that she was approximately 5 to 6 kilometres from where we are.
Armed with renewed strength and vigour, I recalled everyone to gather all the food and weapons and assemble. I told them of my plans and they whooped in joy. Just many hours before they were on the brink of death with little or no food and drinks.
Now, with the filled stomachs and a mission to accomplish, they quickly gathered up the necessary equipment and heads towards Kagome's location. Deep in my heart, I wished Kagome was surviving well as we trudged on towards her location.
We were like The Seven Dwarves seen from above as we piled our stuff on our shoulders and walked beeline towards our intended location. The wound that was caused by the broadhead arrow had healed significantly and both the entry and exit wounds had been patched by the offscreen paramedics.
The broadhead tip was cleaned and sterilized and hung by using a piece of a steel guitar string. It now hung around my neck as a kind of trophy for being hit by an arrow and survived to tell the story.
Chikashi had put on the autoloader crossbow on his right arm and with the strapped weapon, I could feel his confidence soar high. We trudged on and I can't help looking at the blip that was steadily pulsating on the miniscreen of the tablet.
We soon reached a clearing and on that clearing, we could see a vast plantation of coconut, bananas, pineapple, tomatoes and other shrubs that may bear blueberries and other herbs and spices. This part or should I say, the end of the island was a paradise and I am definitely sure that Kagome was stuffing her face all the time here.
Eliminating all the dangers ahead made the way easier for all of us as we wallowed in the scenic views of the vast plantations ahead. We reached a small knoll and the blip on the miniscreen of the tablet steadily glowed.
I then saw her. A lonely soul gathering seaweed and other leaves and branches to mark out the words SOS on the white sandy beach well away from the shoreline. She was barefooted as the slowly and patiently arranged the stuff that she found lying on the beach to form those 3 wonderful words.
I cannot stop the choking feeling as I looked at her in the distance. The stuff that I carried dropped and rolled back to the foot of the knoll. I made my way towards her, and she was oblivious of the approaching of her friends. I wanted to reach out to her, pull her close in my arms and whispered to her how much I missed her for these past few days. I was worried about her well being.
Then she suddenly looked up and stopped what she was doing. We both stood frozen where we stood and we both ran to each other at almost the same time. I choked at my own feelings and no words came out to call out her name. So did she. We ran and when we reached we both flung our arms and hugged each other. Twirling her body as I lifted her off from her feet.
I missed you and I love you. This was the words that escaped from my lips as my tears furiously streamed down my face. I can't help missing her and being reunited with her once again. I hugged her even tighter and so does she. We were never to let go of each other and never be apart anymore.
We were both so happy to meet one another. ”Everything will be fine. I am going to take care of you.” I whispered to her, fighting the choking feeling in my throat. She heard me well and she bawled and cried against my chest. I felt her chest quivering as she cried along with me.
It was like only the two of us left on the island. I held her head and she looked up at me and she squeaked a little hello to me. It was the most wonderful word that I had heard for the past few days and I felt as if those words struck deep within me.
I do not want to let go of her. So does she and we stood there looking forlornly in each other's eyes. She asked where are the others and I beckoned them to rush over. Everyone was affected by the overwhelming feelings and all of us ended up in a group embrace as there was no holding back the tears of joy.
Did an onion ninja pass this way just now?
There was endless chatter on asking about each other well being and the story of how we all took down the Assassins as Chikashi proudly showed the autoloader crossbow attached to his arm.

I showed my broadhead arrow tip around my neck as my trophy and I took it off my neck and put it on hers. She looked at the bandage on my shoulder, a worried look passed her face but when I assuringly explained to her my health condition she managed a smile. The sincerest smile from the apple of my eye.
