69 Real Magic Starts Now (2/2)

He sidled up close to me and signed his thanks for creating an opportunity to have an intimate moment with Trix. It seemed that Trix had been alerted before Leinard, and had been alone in Ryuu's room for sometime to a.n.a.lyse the abnormally.

”Well, sleep time boys and girls.” He flashed me a wink and ambled up the stairs.

Leinard silently stared at me, rubbing his chin thoughtfully with one hand and his right brow raised.

I distracted myself with the sight of tiny white fairy b.a.l.l.s whizzing about the room. It wasn't my fault that I happened upon this bizarre and frightful power. What the h.e.l.l do I call it anyway? Death didn't have a name for it. At least, he didn't tell me anything about it.

A frown creased my forehead at the thought that I was picking up these new magical abilities and not understanding why since my mana was diagnosed by Dr. Mercer to be too low for magic.

”Yeek!” I flinched at the stinging I felt to my cheek.

”Why'd you slap me?” My hands instinctively signed and rubbed my sore cheek better.

”I have your attention now,” he said in my mind.

My heart pounded stupidly as he held me in his arms and kissed my cheek. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes when I felt his lips approach mine. His heat receded, leaving my lips cold. I opened my eyes when I felt his arms pull away.

”Come on.” He sighed and led me up the stairs.

We made our way to his room in silence and sat on his bed, he held my hands with earnest.

”Tonight, Famine, I need your permission to access your mind through your body.” He faced me with an expression of concern.

”Huh?”

He sighed and explained that he had to see where this magic resided in me, which saw to my recent S-Turning ability (he penned my new skill).

This ability was rare with only two grand master magis known to hold the skill that they had inherited through bloodlines. Shuso was one of those masters; it was the reason for his calling to Gat s.h.i.+em, having taken him his whole life to understand.

He further explained that any magic skill that could manipulate Sol's source chi (the grey particles) could create unthinkable disruption to fate, time and the design of life. If I wasn't able to fully grasp the power, I could accidentally change a facet of the world and maybe the world itself.

”Okay, I get it. So, are you going to use your insight skill for this?” I asked telepathically.

My hands were aching, not used to performing sign language for so long. Not to mention, I had been stomaching queasiness on and off all day.

”Sagaport. That is the name of my bloodline skill derived from my mother's side who were of succubus descendants. If you haven't realised, this skill allows me to penetrate into my lover's memory banks and be able to share or read a specific moment at the time of climax.”

”So, like double penetration.” I smirked, unable to hold back on the bad joke. It made him smile.

”Why during climax?”

”It's the time when both of us are completely vulnerable and in-tuned to each other, making our minds an open channel.”

Leinard's voice warmed my cheek. I turned and kissed his lips.

”Say, this sagaport skill, it's only for lovers right?” My heart felt uneasy with the thought of him using it for someone else.

”Only for you. No one else.” He promised me. ”Tonight might be painful, as I have to go in deeper than the last time we did this.”

”Do as you like.” I smiled and relaxed into his arms.
