Chapter 3 - Ji Nai-tang, what are you doing? (2/2)
“What do you mean by that? Do you suspect that I drugged you?”
Ji Nai-tang shook his head. “I just wanted to ask you what wine you ordered for me. It was so strong.”
“Who do you blame for your poor drinking?” When Cen Xi said this he accidentally glimpsed a red mark at the base of Ji Nai-tang’s neck. He asked immediately: “Ji Nai-tang be honest. Who were you with the night before yesterday?”
It was said that Ji Nai-tang was Yao Yuanjing’s lover but Yao Yuanjing had been on a business trip these days and he had not come back yet. Cen Xi thought, was it someone from the bar that night? At the thought of this he was unwilling. The duck had flown out of his mouth and he couldn’t swallow it.
Ji Nai-tang looked quietly at Cen Xi and then returned with an innocent face: “I don’t know what went on the night before. I was so confused…..”
“I am asking you, who was it?”
“This question, I will answer you after I give you a gift. The night before yesterday you bought me a drink. I have to get you a drink in a while.”
After that he glanced at one of the men in a suit. The man held Cen Xi’s mouth in one hand and picked up the bottle in the other hand and forcefully poured a few mouthfuls in his mouth.
“Puff cough cough….. You, Ji Nai-tang, are you tired of living?”
Cen Xi coughed a few times. Although he spat out some he had also drank a lot. He suddenly remembered the night before yesterday when Ji Nai-tang had smashed the bottle. At that the he only thought that the other party was too afraid that was why he had done something completely different from his usual behaviour, but now he had some doubts. Was Ji Nai-tang really as cowardly and timid that he could be trampled upon by others at will as it was rumored?!
Ji Nai-tang admired Cen Xi’s expression and asked them to tie him to the chair with a rope. After the two bodyguards tied him up they went outside first. He went to Cen Xi, smiled slightly and said, “The wine doesn’t give small stamina. You can have a good experience here alone later.”
