Chapter 3 - Ji Nai-tang, what are you doing? (1/2)

Ji Nai-tang didn’t go to the company. One was that he wasn’t feeling well, the other was that he still needed someone to investigate. Anyway the whole company thinks that he was nurtured by Yao Yuanjing so even if he didn’t go no one would dare to call him.

The next day Ji Nai-tang stepped into.the company. He went to his seat to put his things down, picked up a cup and entered the tea room. It wasn’t long before Cen Xi also followed.

As if he didn’t see him, Ji Nai-tang picked up his cup of coffee and got ready to go out. Cen Xi reached out and asked: “Where did you go the night before yesterday?”

“I went home.”

“You went home?” Cen Xi was a little angry. “Do you know how long I looked for you in the bar? You went with me that was why you turned up there. You didn’t think to let me know that you were going home?”

Ji Nai-tang looked at the colleague who had come in to pour water by the door and whispered, “Shall we talk somewhere else?”

Cen Xi was very satisfied with his performance and followed him out of the tea room to the storage room at the end of the corridor. There was only a pile of non essentials and usually very few people came over.

As soon as the two men entered the storage room Cen Xi reached out, only to be caught off guard and pressed against the wall. He turned and looked at the two men in suits who looked like bodyguards. He struggled but could not break free.

“Ji Nai-tang, what are you doing?”

Ji Nai-tang leaned leisurely against the door, his black suit coat draped over his shoulders somewhat casually with a cup of hot coffee in his hand which was out of tune with the surrounding environment.

After hearing the question, he bowed his head and took a sip of the coffee and waited until Cen Xi asked a second time before he said leisurely, “I had a few mouthfuls of wine the night before but I felt powerless and hot and you were the one who ordered that glass of wine for me.”
