To our eternal G.o.d, The Father and the Son, And Spirit all divine, Three mysteries in one, Salvation, power, And praise be given By all on earth And all in heaven.

1 Hosanna to King David's Son, Who reigns on a superior throne; We bless the Prince of heavenly birth Who brings salvation down to earth.

2 Let every nation, every age, In this delightful work engage; Old men and babes in Sion sing The growing glories of her King.

1 Hosanna to the King Of David's ancient blood; Behold he comes to bring Forgiving grace from G.o.d: Let old and young Attend his way, And at his feet Their honours lay.

2 Glory to G.o.d on high, Salvation to the Lamb; Let earth, and sea, and sky His wondrous love proclaim: Upon his head Shall honours rest, And every age p.r.o.nounce him blest.
