After dinner, Qin Yue said that she still had things to do and told Ye Qian to go home first, that she would notify him if she received any news about Zhao Ya. Ye Qian pursed his lips but could only obediently turn to leave. Now was not the time to be a smartmouth or he could get snubbed.

Ye Qian had just left when Qin Yue couldn't help letting out a laugh, then muttering to herself ”What a bad joke”

Just when he exited the school entrance, Ye Qian saw from afar two people who seemed to be be bodyguards walk over and approach him. It was already getting dark but they still wore sungla.s.ses, the effect was pompous.

Ye Qian stopped and watched silently the two men in suits approach. ”Walk with us, our boss wants to see you.” Both of them stopped in front of Ye Qian, and one of them, a slightly robust person, said.

Ye Qian smiled disdainfully and said, ”Who's your boss? Just because he wants to see me, am I expected to go? If he is looking for me, then he should come here himself, laozi still has things to do.” Ye Qian was a person that eats soft food, but refuses hard food, if the other person had talked to him amiably Ye Qian wouldn't be reacting this way. But they had said it like it was an order, as if he was their servant and they could command him to do anything, Ye Qian naturally did not take it well. Add to that, because Zhao Ya was missing, Ye Qian was in an annoyed mood, luckily somebody was nowhere to be his punching bag, Ye Qian might as well match them.

”You best come with me, so I won't have to make any moves, this is best for everybody, what do you say?” The bodyguard replied. From his tone, it seemed that if Ye Qian did not go with them quietly then they would exert force.

Ye Qian found that he was starting to like these two fools more and more, unexpectedly trying to dominate him, really, they were just giving themselves up for Ye Qian to vent his anger. ”What? You want to use force? Let me tell you, this is China, it is a place with law, be careful or I will report you.” Ye Qian pretended to be scared and replied in a trembling voice.

The two couldn't help smiling. Not to speak of hitting Ye Qian a little and then bringing him to their boss, in their view, beating Ye Qian up was not a serious matter. ”Law? Heng, let me tell you, you best to come with us quietly. Or else, even if the munic.i.p.al committee secretary sees us beating you up he wouldn't dare yell.” The other said.

Naturally the two bodyguards were not an exception, hearing Ye Qian's words and now understanding that Ye Qian was mocking them, they became angry. ”f.u.c.k, we f.u.c.king try to give face and you don't want it. Boss only said to bring you, didn't say what method to achieve it. Even if we beat you till you're disabled the boss wouldn't mind.” One of the bodyguard said. ”Stand over there, I'll handle this.” He said to the other bodyguard.

After speaking, he kneaded his fists, which made cracking sounds, it was as if he was pressuring Ye Qian. But Ye Qian had a calm expression, watching them like he was some idiot. The strong bodyguard roared and swung his fist towards Ye Qian's stomach.
