At Ye Qian's words, Jack couldn't help slightly blanking out. This was so unlike his boss' style being so keyed-up for someone as small as Ouyang Tianming. He had called not long ago, and now, he was calling about news of Ouyang Tianming already. But after following Ye Qian for so long, then being called Wolf Fang's best think tank, Jack was quick to figure out that something must have happened.

”Already sent someone out to do some reconnaissance, no news for now. Rest a.s.sured, boss, before tomorrow, we'll have that guy dug out.” Jack said resolutely, ”did something happen, boss?”

Ye Qian made a light sound of agreement before answering, ”I have a friend who went missing yesterday, which I suspect is Ouyang Tianming's work. Find me information on Ouyang Tianming as quickly as possible, I'm worried that if we wait any longer something might happen.”

How many friends did Ye Qian have in China, Jack knew quite well. Anyway, Ouyang Tianming would now foolishly kidnap a man, so it was quite clear that the friend Ye Qian mentioned was none other than the boss' woman. If word spread of how the great Wolf Fang's leader had his woman kidnapped, the Wolf Fang would lose all face. If anything were to happen to Zhao Ya, the Wolf Fang wouldn't be able to show their face to anyone again. Now knowing the seriousness of the matter, Jack hurriedly said, ”I'll immediately send out  more people out to look, we'll definitely find Ouyang Tianming's whereabouts soon enough.”

”Okay!” After expressing his agreement , Ye Qian hung up the phone. Now, all he could do was wait. Ye Qian wasn't really worried about any danger coming to Zhao Ya's life, if she really were kidnapped by Ouyang Tianming. Ultimately, the one Ouyang Tianming had beef with was him, so he didn't think anything would happen to Zhao Ya. But in the end, Zhao Ya was a precious young lady who had never had a lick or hards.h.i.+p in her life, Ye Qian was doing this just in case Ouyang Tianming would use methods of torture on her, it was something Ye Qian did not wish to see.

As he turned his body around, he discovered Qin Yue standing behind him, and Ye Qian couldn't help staring blankly back. It seems that he had been too preoccupied with what was happening with Zhao Ya to realize that Qin Yue had already crept up behind him. After gawking a little, Ye Qian asked, ”Did you hear everything?”

Qin Yue's expression was ice-cold as she asked, ”What really happened? You said 'Ouyang Tianming' just now, what does it have to do with Ouyang Tianming? Isn't he already in prison?”

Ye Qian took a deep breath, then said, ”I came to school after seeing w.a.n.g Ping. He told me that Ouyang Tianming escaped from prison a couple of days ago. Then Zhao Ya went missing yesterday. I was worried that he kidnapped Zhao Ya to try to get to me. I already have some people on the search, I should get news soon. I'm sorry, it's all on me. If it weren't for me, this wouldn't have happened to Zhao Ya.”

Qin Yue's expression was gloomy, she was silent for a long time before she asked, ”Ye Qian, you told me you were only some bodyguard Ya'er's dad hired, why would Ouyang Tianming have anything to do with you? I've always had doubts about what you actually do, but I never asked. Ye Qian, Ya'er is a good friend of mine, practically a sister to me. If anything happened to her, I would never forgive you for the rest of my life.”

Ye Qian didn't know how to reply to that, so he only kept silent and sighed lightly.

Qin Yue paid no attention to Ye Qian's reaction.She had just finished speaking when she immediately took out her phone and dialed a number. ”You will go search Ouyang Tianming's whereabouts immediately, I must know his whereabouts before evening today, or else you need not come see me but just go jump into Huangpu River.” Qin Yue's tone was full of wrath, but her words were icy, but not hysterical. Once she was done speaking, she hung up the phone.

Ye Qian held some surprise with regards to Qin Yue's ident.i.ty. She not only had people go search, she did not even ask about Jack. Back during the jewelry auction, Ye Qian still remembered the words Jack said to him. Jack knew Qin Yue's ident.i.ty then but Ye Qian hadn't asked, so he didn't say what it was.

Although he didn't know Qin Yue's background, Ye Qian could probably make a good guess. In Shanghai, Qin Yue's family surely had a lot of influence. Moreover, Wolf Fang had only just started in China, so they hadn't developed a good foundation here yet compared to Qin Yue's family. It was possible that Qin Yue would get news of Ouyang Tianming faster.

”Let's go, have a meal with me.” After hanging up, Qin Yue said in a tone that one couldn't refuse.
